I would advise not to use N Series PC Suite. Just use the normal PC Suite.

Normal PC Suite more stable and less buggy.
*
Oh yeah, that is the N Series PC Suite. Reallly annoy the hell out of me. Is this the normal PC Suite? Will I download the same N Series PC Suite if I select N82?

i noticed my n82 took around 1 hr 15 mins to charge full once the low batt warning pops. Is it normal or could it be fake batt. Mine is zitron set. Batt life norm around 1 day + including midnite standby n some moderate amount of music wifi n gps.
*
Mine is around an hour too. But it last for quite a few days under below average use. AP set though.

i think the charging duration might be due to diff battery cell types...
i came across a chinese website identifying fakes for bp-6mt batteries
they stated that there are 2 kinds of bp-6mt...one is the one with silverish plating beneath the battery skin...2nd type is from samsung, without silver plating beneath the battery skin...u can check whr its manufactured...mine is samsung definitely...diff design outlook.. stated cell made in korea...

mayb diff battery cell produces diff charging time? hmm

ur below average usage means refraining from wifi, gps and music? jus normal stnadby n lil calls n msg?
*
Mind sharing the website you have just mentioned? Or you can simply post the images here sharing with us.

Below average meaning very limited to no calls, limited to no sms, 15 minutes of loudspeaker MP3 (70%), perhaps 15 minutes of Wifi. Can last for a few days.

You guys keep playing with the cover?

This is how my Garmin structure looks like:

Where to?
View map

Tools - Settings - Exit

Under tools:
  • Garmin Online
  • PeerPoints
  • Route Details
  • Browse Map
  • Where Am I?
  • Manage My Data
  • Trip Computer
  • Simulate Route

Under Settings:
  • Map
  • System
  • Routing
  • Display
  • Audio
  • Garmin Online
  • Proximity Points
  • About
  • Restore defaults

So where do I enable/disable A-GPS? rclxub.gif

No wonder sweat.gif Stupid me. What is "network based"? And for A-GPS, only 8 cents or around there per time Garmin is used, no matter how long I used it for that session?

thanks for the info man...one more thing, how do i read the life timer.. is it in days or hours or what?how do i know that a phone is new.

another thing i want to ask other fellow n82 users, do you notice a screen gap on your n82?..i read in other forums that say the screen gap is near/beside usb connector...

and another thing, some people also say that dust gets under their n82 screen. is that so? it's not a problem with my n81 as it does not have dust problems under the screen.
*
Didn't notice any screen gap. Yes, I do have an annoying dust sticking inside the screen. But got used to it already tongue.gif

chicaman, can PM me about how to get Garmin XT? Hehe...I just know Garmin XT for UIQ only.LOL

Google for *ahem* Garmin for Symbian V3. Basically you download the trial from Garmin's official website and do something with it to make it works perfectly.

prevent?? use invisible shield laugh.gif
there's a gap surrounding the whole keypad and lcd
this gap is used to open the cover
got ppl successfully pry open the cover after many attempts
so far no prob for me *touchwood* rclxms.gif
*
How do you prevent dust from getting in using invisible shield? I thought invisible shield only prevents the phone from being scratched? But then, I'm not even sure from where the dust get in to begin with.

Not sure to yeah or boo, because I got mine at RM1380 about a month ago. RM1500 is definitely a rip off. Or the price has gone up?
