Real beauty isn't about symmetry or weight or makeup; it's about looking life right in the face and seeing all its magnificence reflected in your own.

QUOTE(xavi5567 @ May 20 2009, 07:16 PM)
A VERY  INTERESTING  CONVERSATION (u can change the christian into any other relegion or faith)

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy was speaking to his Class on the Problem Science has
With GOD , the ALMIGHTY.  He asked one of his New Christian Students to stand and . . .

Professor :  You are a Christian, aren't you, son ?
Student    :  Yes, sir.
Professor :    So, you Believe in GOD ?
Student    :  Absolutely, sir.
Professor :    Is GOD Good ?
Student    :    Sure.
Professor :    Is GOD ALL - POWERFUL ?
Student    :    Yes.
Professor :    My Brother died of Cancer even though he Prayed to  GOD to Heal him. Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill. But GOD didn't. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent )

Professor :  You can't answer, can you ?  Let's start again, Young Fella.
                  Is GOD Good?
Student    :  Yes.
Professor :  Is Satan good ?
Student    :  No.
Professor :  Where does Satan come from ?
Student    :  From . . . GOD . . .
Professor :  That's right.  Tell me son, is there evil in this World?
Student    :  Yes.
Professor :    Evil is everywhere, isn't it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?
Student    :  Yes.
Professor :  So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer)

Professor :  Is there Sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the World, don't they?
Student    :  Yes, sir.
Professor :  So, who Created them ?

(Student ha d no answer)

Professor : Science says you have 5 Senses you use to Identify and Observe the World around you. Tell me, son . . . Have you ever Seen GOD?
Student    : No, sir.
Professor  : Tell us if you have ever Heard your GOD?
Student    :  No , sir.
Professor :  Have you ever Felt your GOD , Tasted your GOD , Smelt your GOD ? Have you ever had any Sensory Perception of GOD for that matter?
Student    :  No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Professor :  Yet you still Believe in HIM?
Student    :  Yes.
Professor :  According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol,          Science says your GOD doesn't exist.  What do you say to that, son?
Student    :  Nothing.  I only have my Faith.
Professor :  Yes, Faith.  And that is the Problem Science has.

Student    :  Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor :  Yes.
Student    :  And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor :  Yes.
Student  :  No, sir. There isn't..

(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student    :  Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat,
a Little Heat or No Heat.
But we don't have anything called Cold.
We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as Cold.
Cold is only a Word we use to describe the Absence of Heat.
                  We cannot Measure Cold.
                  Heat is Energy.
Cold is Not the Opposite of Heat, sir, just the Absence of it.

(There was Pin-Drop Silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student    :  What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?
Professor :  Yes. What is Night if there isn't Darkness?
Student    :  You're wrong again, sir.  Darkness is the Absence of Something
You can have Low Light,  Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light . . .            But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn't it?  In reality, Darkness isn't.        If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn't you?
Professor :  So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?
Student  :  Sir, my point is your Philosophical Premise is flawed.
Professor :  Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student    :  Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality. You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD. You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure.                  Sir, Science can't even explain a Thought.  It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.            To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that Death cannot exist as a Substantive Thing.
Death is Not the Opposite of Life: just the Absence of it
Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?
Professor :  If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.
Student    :  Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a Smile, beginning to realize where the Argument was going )

Student    :  Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and Cannot even prove that this Process is an On-Going Endeavor,
Are you not teaching your Opinion, sir?
Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?
(The Class was in Uproar )

Student    :  Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor's Brain?

(The Class broke out into Laughter )

Student    :  Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . . .
No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol, Science says that You have No Brain, sir.  With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust your Lectures, sir?

(The Room was Silent. The Professor stared at the Student, his face unfathomable)

Professor :  I guess you'll have to take them on Faith, son.
Student    :  That is it sir . . .  Exactly !
The Link between Man & GOD is FAITH.
That is all that Keeps Things Alive and Moving.
NB:

I believe you have enjoyed the Conversation . . . and if so .. .
You'll probably want your Friends / Colleagues to enjoy the same . . . won't you?
Forward them to Increase their Knowledge . . . or FAITH.
That student was Albert Einstein.

What happened here... Normally if people surrounded and pointed with a knife... they will give away all their belongings...
and guess what I done...

I hold his knife and trying to take over the knife but failed...
I almost kill one of them while he standing somewhere easy to fall down... I was pushing him down.... 2 legs already went up but one of the hand is holding the 'Tiang'... failed to give him a serious injured....
Then 2 or 3 of them tried to hold and and take my phone and etc...
But since they are still students like me... I'm stronger than them where 2 or 3 of them can't manage to hold me at all...

Then I took a look at the way... I'm totally surrounded and no where to run.... and the first stuff they aiming is my phone....

Here come another hero part... I straight take out my phone and THROW IT DOWN THE BRIDGE thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Well... Its a Sony Ericsson W350i that I bought last year August... I used it until half dead.... full of scars too...
From how I throw.... I'm sure that phone is spoiled and not even worth RM50...

Those dogs still rushing go take that phone....
After that they run already... End up never took my wallet cause of my acting... They are scared while I shout at them...

That's how my report for Friday .... and I think they never thought that I get a new phone within 24 hours thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

Love & Distance

'Why do we shout in anger?' A saint asked his disciples, 'Why do we

shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are

upset?'

His disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose

our calm, we shout for that.'

'But, why do you shout when the other person is just next to you?'

asked the saint. 'Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft

voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?'

Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.

Finally he explained, 'When two people are angry at each other, their

hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be

able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will

have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.'

Then the saint asked, 'What happens when two people fall in love? They

don't shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts

are very close. The distance between them is very small...'

The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what

happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to

each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they

only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two

people are when they love each other.

'MORAL' said the saint: 'When you argue do not let your hearts get

distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there

will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find

the path to return!'

Your Value Never Changes...

A popular speaker started off his lecture by holding up a $20 bill. In the room teeming with people, he asked. "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you - but first, let me do this."

He proceeded to crumple the 20 dollar note up. He then asked. "Now who wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air.

"Well," he continued, "what if I do this?" He dropped it on the floor and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.

"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20. Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless; but no matter what happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.

Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who love you. The worth of our lives comes, not in what we do or who we know, but by...Who We Are.

This is to remind us that we are special, unique and have value that no one else has... and that we should never ever forget this.

Here's mine, my work.. The idea just came out of a bloom.. PM me your critics, I wish to hear them..

Fantasizing memories, the recollection,
Beyond the borders of existence,
Pleasant yet indulgance,
Yet,
Why is it so painful at times?

I was once in a dream,
Filled with desiderate contingency,
When reality couldn't be determined,
My alarm clock starts to scream,
At the very moment, it was fleeting,
Between awake and asleep,
I gave a great tap on my clock,
And here I am,
Back to the reality...
Filled with insatiate impassioned
Truly it is,
Unacceptance to the reality.

My sis's rented house in SS2 (I rented one room too in that house last time) was nearly broke in by some jilakat people during a broad daylight yesterday.

It didn't happen once, or twice, but almost the 4th time already!

First time the jilakat thief slashed my ear, got 8 stitches, right in front of house gate;
Second time (after I moved out to uni), the housemates and my sis found something fishy on the roof-new magazine and drink;
Third time, somebody tried to cut open the house door's gate! Luckily a housemate was at home that time, they failed to break in. However, have to change a new lock and replaced the lock holder.
Fourth time, someone tried to break in again (not sure how), came with a car.

The first time happened in midnight, right at 12am. But the other time, it happened during the daytime. What happen to the society??

And the funny thing is, during my incident, I went to the police station in the first place with bloody ear to warn them about the car (I managed to see the car plate) then only went to hospital to treat my ear, but when I got back to the police station to file the report 4 hours later, the polices said the same car went to Pohkong area and robbed a doctor, and they were giggling when they talked about that. doh.gif

Gratefulness is the key to a happy life that we hold in our hands, because if we are not grateful, then no matter how much we have we will not be happy -- because we will always want to have something else or something more.

My house in DJ area has a super high back fence but this monkey managed to climb in before. He came in once when my mum was about to go out. Thank God she didn't and went to the comp in a room with a window facing the back (the window has frosted glass and mosquito netting so hard to see out). I followed her to the comp instead of the back as she wanted to show me something. Then my dad came back and chased that monkey out. He scaled a 3 meter fence with sharp pointy triangles on top ohmy.gif.

That monkey came back a few days ago but he didn't come in. Instead he just stole my mum's old wok. It's heavy so I guess he wanted to recycle it. Who knows when he'll come back vmad.gif He claims he's poor and has no money. The first time he came at night, the next he boldly came in broad daylight. My neighbour has 2 dogs always caged up at the back and they bark and howl all day but we're all so conditioned to it we don't notice when they actually make noise because of a stranger.

I almost got robbed (I think) twice while walking my dog. Luckily I had my Labrador mixed dog who is Labrador sized with me.

Now my area has some sort of security plan. Still that monkey managed to run off with a giant wok vmad.gif.
