Had a good game with lluminar earlier. Totally got owned by his Ryu.

Notes on llumina

Very accurate chain link combo, especially the cross overs - beautiful to watch
Almost perfect timing on focus ex-cancel or combo
Annoying throws to catch you off guard
Lots of medium kick jabs and fireball

Let's play again lluminar, definitely got more things to absorb from you heh heh

i just bought a ps3 version sf4 and the online play sucks always got very few players with a reasonable connection speed to play,in Xbox live got such problems huh?

You don't necessarily need to have flashy combos to win - that much is certain. I know from our matches, there were quite a few close calls but at the same time there were matches where I could not do anything because he could read my moves. Hence, his ability to adapt to new opponent strategies is very good as well.

Having 2 or 3 consistent chain combos is a must
Very good reflexes to react and adapt is required
Keeping a cool head is a must - I have a habit of losing my cool when I get thrown, I think it's something which I have inherited way back in SF2 days.

.... and the rest is pretty much experience. Against good players, you cannot expect to do the same thing over and expect to get away with it. I definitely learnt that

The only way to gain experience is to play against good players more to learn.
