I wish it would happen, but I won't expect it to. The very last fighting game to come over here was Soul Calibur III Arcade Edition. I've never come across any of these other fighting games in local arcades: Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection, Virtua Fighter 5, Tekken 6. The only games that ever come here anymore are light gun games or racing games. I long for the days where great competition can be found on most of the fighting game machines. Here's hoping Street Fighter IV makes it here.

Hey guys. I just started getting on Live 2 days ago. Been getting some practice with rezalida last night. Add me if anyone wants to fight me. Gamertag crimsonmythril. Btw, if you're serious about pulling off specials or supers with precision 100% all the time, arcade stick is the way to go. Like when Rezalida got hit with Zangief's ultra. Isn't that right rezalida? tongue.gif

Anyone want to fight me tonight? I might put in a couple hours' worth of SFIV after work. Gamertag crimsonmythril. My most challenging fight so far is againt In53cUr3. His Guile is fast and effective.

Just finished a couple of matches with Ilumina. Damn, his Ryu is full of combos, focus cancels and throws. Need to sharpen my skills even more. Good game, bro. Now, I need to sleep off my flu. Haven't been easy gaming for the past two days.

Had a string of matches with leepast last night. Got my butt kicked repeatedly. It seems a lot of the forumers here are very good at Street Fighter IV. Should make for many more interesting fights in the future!

You're also damn good you know. Wiped the floor with my sorry fighting. Only my E. Honda has any chance of staying alive. I wonder what that says about my Street Fighter skills...

Yeah, I'm crimsonmythril. You have no idea how many people give me 'that' look when fighting as E. Honda. I've only recently gotten good at focus->cancel into dash. You need to master that to pass some Crimson Viper and Rufus' challenge.

Don't forget the occasional Guile as well. Am I the only E. Honda player here? sweat.gif

Guile I see a lot. Also do all the cheap tapping tricks. Dhalsim is an interesting one to fight. Haven't fought E Honda yet.

Then come fight my Honda! I can be interesting/annoying/cheap depending on how you interpret it. Not saying I'm good though, just those attributes I mentioned. Add me. Gamertag crimsonmythril.

Leepast's Blanka can be a pain to approach. Good game just now. I'll be withdrawing from Live for a while, as my 1 month trial is expiring anytime now. Thanks to everyone who played with me! I'm still undecided about paying for Live, but the past month gave a good approximation of the Live experience. Maybe I'll get on board again, who knows.

I'm back! I figured since I don't have much time for even single player gaming, why not just use my free time for online gaming instead. At least I get to test my skills with actual platyers and not the CPU AI all the time. Looking forward to even more matches with you guys.

My Internet line has been out for a day now. Can't connect at all. Until that gets fixed, I'll be missing out on matches. Sigh.

Has anyone else faced crippling lag recently? Normally I can get in some ok matches when playing ranked games. I've been trying to play some championship games, but all the matches so far are just unplayable. How's the connection when playing with local players now?

I haven't been able to play a satisfying online match for a while now. My Streamyx line always giving me headache recently. Anyone else experiencing this? Oh, I'm playing with a friend btw, not random matches.

On the default 360 controller settings, that would be B+Y. There are different focus levels depending on how long the MP+MK buttons are held. When timed correctly, focus will absorb one hit without any loss in health, before countering with an attack. You can even cancel the focus attack by dashing forward or back. Some special moves can even be cancelled into focus. But hey, I can just talk about it. There're are many players who are much better than me who use focus often. Oh, lastly, SFIV is already out on PC.

Well, the PC version, even with medium settings, matches the Xbox 360 version exactly. If you're using a 360 controller, even the button mapping is exact. On my Core 2 Quad Q6600 with 2GB RAM + Geforce 8800GTX, I can maximise all graphic settings except anti aliasing. On these settings, I can achieve constant 60fps while still looking great. You've probably read online before, but SFIV PC is unique because it includes new filters to modify the look of your fighters. I'm liking the brushstroke filter quite a bit! Too bad the PC version doesn't have cross platform play with Xbox 360... cry.gif
