I went to Sonax yesterday to get my car coat. I must say, I am really impressed with the end result. The whole process took more than 7 hours. They really putted in their time and effort to get my car paint protected. The guy called James Tan was really friendly.

Assuming you did the coating, you'll need to machine polish to properly remove the coating layer. If the scratch is not too deep it might even not touch your paint Thus the coating act as a protection shield, as you said

hey..wonder what is the proper way to clay?.. i just bought a PG clay bar no2...so just want to test out....and i just wonder what is the proper way to clay the car without ruining the paint or messing everything up..?..... is it need to put a bit water on the clay or on the paint surface and move it?
