aku xde la pandai sgt tapi kalu nk explain skit2 bleh la....
kalu slh tlg la tegur...
hook potential- lagi tinggi hook potential lagi senang bola utk hook...
length- susah skit nk explain tapi yg aku phm bape jauh bola tu kena travel before dia hook....
breakpoint shape- angle bola tu hook...

meaning kalau length tinggi n breakpoint shape pun tinggi memang kena main dalam sikit ler kot.. means that kita kena main bukak so that angle tu akan masuk ke poket 1,3.. betul ka?.. hehe.. aku punya pemahaman pun lebih kurang cetek gak pasal spec ni.. selalunya pegi pro shop diorang tebuk tapi selalunya diorang x explain purpose diorang tebuk kan?.. hehe.. at least kalau dpat knowledge pasal spec bola n drilling instruction ni boleh ler jugak paham apa yang pro shop buat ngan bola kita tu.. huhu..
kalau dari segi pin location pulak apa ko paham?.. letak atas ler letak tepi ler letak bawah ler.. yang aku paham kalau pin kat atas dia hook lambat sikit.. x tau ler betul ke tak.. huhu..

the length and breakpoint shape mostly depending on your drilling.. 3 1/4" PIN to PAP will give you the most aggressive angular snap.. 4" to 5 1/2" pin to PAP will give you a later snap which will then give you an extremely sharp breakpoint shape..

other than drilling you must see the differential rg of the ball.. 0.050 or 0.060 will give you a more arc breakpoint shape because the track is extremely high.. balls with 0.040 differential rg will mostly give a nice sharp breakpoint.

usually you see the pin to PAP.. the most aggressive drilling is 3 1/4" PIN to PAP..

I always like this example.. imagine a pen.. the PIN is the pen tip.. you point the tip up 45 degrees.. that is 3 1/4" pin to PAP setup... now imagine the pencil is in the ball.. when you roll the ball straight.. then pencil will be going up and down up and down isnt? thats how the core of the ball acts.. the higher the PIN to PAP... the longer the ball will go and hook.. more length lor.. haha..

how to measure PAP? check out youtube videos.. or go to the bowling alley.. throw one ball.. and see the oil ring closest to your thumbhole.. put the oil ring that is closest to your thumb hole parallel to the floor.. the top of the bowling ball is your PAP..

do some research.. go to the manufacturers website. usually there are two balls nowadays in the market.. reactive and plastic.. urethane balls are hard to find..

as a general guide.. those balls which are expensive are reactive balls which has a core.. unless you find the clear plastic ball that has some funny things inside like a love shape or a panda bear inside.. those are plastic balls.. other plastic balls are ebonite maxim.. brunswick t-zone..

hmm mcm nie...the matter is i got this bowling ball from my father n then he also doesn't know the type of that ball b'coz he bought second hand..ade picture kat post atas tu..mane thu pnah nampak ..
no.. your aim is depending on your style of playing and the lanes..

ur ball shud be reactive and shud be for spinners.. not too sure about this ball.. never seen it..
