want to know your blog in good position ranking at google, yahoo, msn. try search how other blog able at first page number 1 to 10, read their key word, follow what their do. Let said you blog is more on food, you search food blog.
see how them able be good position. |

Hi guys, the info here is pretty useful.
Does anyone have an idea what is DoFollow attribute? Does it help with SEO? There's a plugin called NoFollow as the attribute, DoFollow results in more spam rather than reducing it. |

In simpler words...
NoFollow Tells Google to not heavily consider the link or webpage for their search rankings. The reason Wordpress incorporated nofollow into their comment links is so spammers who like to comment with their URL in your comment area don't get a free link exchange. Especially when they're not even contributing to the discussion. DoFollow Technically, there is no such term. LOL! If you don't have nofollow or isn't programmed in the system to recognize links as nofollow then default, it's a "dofollow".  I wouldn't say nofollow doesn't affect SEO. It's just not 1 of the main criteria in SEO. The nofollow is more about assisting search engines to recognize which links is credible. |

to get your blog popular, you may wanna use Facebook as a marketing tool. It is not simply setting up a Fan Page, but you can create Groups in Facebook on your particular blog topic, let's say gardening Group and pump all the Facebook members into that group. I've been blogging for 3 years now. And since 2 weeks ago, I've been looking into all these Adsense and online making tips. I wonder what have I been doing all these years! I missed out so many money making chances and opportunities to drive traffic to my blog.
"Nah... my blog is for friends and family only. No need put up ads to spoil the design la" Hehe that was stupid. So I started looking deep into forums, and I start from lowyat forum (has been a member here, but only active in Audiophile). All I wanted to say is, thanks for sharing so many tips and guides, especially Mr Goldfries Give me some time to browse through all the sites.. too many links lah. Don't know which one to focus. I notice some of the links are dead, some SEO tips are pretty outdated too.. any chance to open up a new thread again? It's 2009 already... |
