No offence here but come offend...most and i repeat...most...and not all...handphone sellers like to talk cock to their potential customers about iPhone...they thought that their customers are totally dumba** and have no idea what is an iPhone before surveying for price...in the end...they make a fool out of themselves...who's laughing in the end? not the seller but the potential customers...

My pleasure ! everybody out there needs to know the actual scam tactics because we mostly hear a word or two and still have a little bit of hope that the stories might be made up or so. The fact is they're more fraudsters than genuine retailers.

5 points for you antnine ! You're true about most of these electronics retailers. it happens the same for computer peripherals as well.
The best part is when they see you know something extra or a little bit technical, then they're blur and wonder how come a normal customer knows so much.....forgetting that normal customers are educated too.

I am not surprise with that. There is one seller in Mines Shopping Fair, asking what phone i did used before (when i am planning to buy a new phone from his shop) around 2 month back.. i told that i am using Sharp 903sh.. then he seems like shocked.. how much do u sold? i told i sold it for rm900.. then he tell me.. wah, u should sell to me loh.. sooooo cheap he say.. i can even buy from u at 1.2k. I just lol (if u know and alert for 903sh value here in Garage Sales). hehe tongue.gif

This goes to show that good things dont come cheap, and when they do, they are always too good to be true. You can only go so much for being thrifty, before you become the target for these characters.

You get what you pay for.

no lubang yet. Safest method is to purchase in Australia or New Zealand.

please remember, as of now (1 Aug 2008) iPhone 3G can't be unlocked yet. This means locked sets (from USA for example) cannot be used here

please please don't get scammed. Even though I work for an Apple reseller, I can't help you.
