QUOTE(daruma @ Sep 12 2008, 02:43 PM) it's here.. not compact at all I noticed. I wonder how big will it be with a pancake lens. Should be pocketable. And lol at the big lens hehe.[-img]http://a.img-dpreview.com/previews/PanasonicG1/Images/allroundview-001.jpg[/img] » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « http://www.dpreview.com/previews/panasonicG1/ |

King of King owners, how the hell do we process our RAW files (*.RW2)??
I used the provided software (silkypix) but I can't find anyway to save it into another format. And my CS3 refuses to open the *.RW2 files! How can I save my RAW files into a different format so that i can process them on CS3?! |

QUOTE(PCHo @ Sep 12 2008, 11:15 PM) thats simply the best part about lumix.... isnt it Added on September 13, 2008, 3:03 pm QUOTE(daruma @ Sep 12 2008, 03:53 PM) many leica models n lumix models are actually the same.its a collaboration agreement project. leica provide the lens n cam techies... pana provide the chips n camera body designs. if i dint make any mistakes in the details.... so actually many leica cams n lumix cam looks almost the same. ALMOST the same. but of course leica's price will be a lot higher. i had tested out a few leica cameras myself(if not wrong, shud be at the same lvl as FS5 n FX36). the screen, interface practically looks the same with lumix. some comes with IA as well some comes with the same e-zoom function. the button allocation are the same. body built similar. minor difference in paint jobs. overall look, leica may look slightly more traditional cam feel..... one of the leica i tested out.. shud be FS5 i think.... cost about RM1999++ almost RM1000 more expensive lo. QUOTE(daruma @ Sep 13 2008, 08:31 PM) Errr.....the dog looks like a fake Added on September 14, 2008, 12:33 am QUOTE(ahnien @ Sep 13 2008, 02:57 PM) It does take out some of the interesting things about changing your settings and makes it literaly "point & shoot".But 90% of the time, I would say that iA does a way better and faster job at determining camera settings than I will ever will~! hahahaha..... But I really really love the manual controls during certain conditions. That is one of the big reasons why I bought the LX3 instead of the FX38 or other Lumix ultra-compacts This post has been edited by PCHo: Sep 14 2008, 12:33 AM |
