Well, i called a couple of shops and they dont seem to have LX3 in stock.
One crazy guy quoted me RM1,000.00 w/o card..can you believe it.
At 1st i thought he must have heard me wrong,NO he said,"i have sold a lot of
LX3"....
I asked him 3 times and he quoted me the same price...
So i asked him again,but he said "Now NO stock,give me your no. and
i will call u when stock come"..... ...lol.
This shop is at Kota Raya and i spoke to an old guy...hehe.
Of course i dont believe it,as i knew he was pulling my leg,as he
knew the market condition for this camera.
He knew i would wait for his stock to arrive and then he is going
to hit me with a higher price.

See how this shopkeepers twist the facts... .

Seriously i need the came,as i have sold my last piece of
DSLR equipment, the FLASH yesterday.
So i am CAMERALESS.....

Do keep me informed if any of you guys come across a new
LX3 (Black).

Well, i asked around KL,and went hunting right from KLCC,Ampang Park,Ampang Point,
Wangsa Maju Carrefour, and finally Alpha Angle.
In Alpha Angle they had 2 units in Black..the asking price was RM1,600.00
with 4GB Sdcard,Pouch and nothing else.
I told the guy that other shops were selling for RM1,550.00 with extra accessories,but he said
that the best he could do.I offered RM1,570.00 and he said no,so i got a bit piss...off and told him
a few things and that even if he offered me RM1500.00 i would not buy from him, while waving my wallet towards
him.
I was waiting for him to say something,so i could really climb onto him,but he said nothing else.!..hehe.

Well i can wait,and i know the stock will be here on Monday or Tuesday,so i am just going to save my money
and get a better deal,when the market is flooded with Lx3 Blacks.
Then it will be a BUYERS market!...

Well if anyone has any info on the RM1550.00 price range in Black,do let me know,so Sunday i could go there and grab one.

You are right.
I just called Foto Flash, alpha angle,they had 2 units yesterday.
But since he was selling me for rm1,600.00...i didnt buy.
Called just now and they have sold all their stock!.

No problem, will get mine when the market is flooded and nego kaw..kaw!..hehe.
I wanted it but not so badly and also my D80 deal didnt get through, as the Mad
Buyer was asking RM2,400.00 for used Body only ..new is RM2,000.00 Body only.

Its okay,will wait .

Just wanted to share this...
I Finally Got My LX3 in BLACK yesterday morning...last one in stock.
I called the guy on Monday night and made sure he sms-ed me on the stock,price
and reservation .
So far been busy with work and i am typing this, my battery is being charged at the same time.
The Funny thing is that, when i wanted to test the camera and i brought it up to my eye level and
i then realized that it was not a DSLR..hehe..

I was also intending to buy a used D70s with kit for RM1,300.00 in very good condition,but someone
beat me to it.
Well, next year i will certainly get the D90 as well,when the price drops a little.
Well will take a few pictures today and see what the Happiness is all about!.

YOu know these cameras are like hot cakes, eat them while they are hot..meaning
if you get one, dont bargain too much as when you want them later, they will be all gone!

I got it for RM1,600.00 with Silicon LCD protector, Lumix Bag,4GB Panasonic SD card,
Mini Tripod.
Of course they tried to sell me some other stuff, but i wasnt buying as i knew
their prices were crazy.
I can later on get a Class 6 8Gb SD card if i require it,so as not to put my Eggs in one basket!..
Sometimes these shopkeepers will try all sort of tricks..
This chap tried to sell me some silly..no brand lens protector.
I told him bro, whats the point of getting this camera if i have to use this cheap stuff!.
BTW: still very busy with work and Golf at night..so hopefully might test it this weekend.

I am sorry, but Selangor Photo will not sell you at this price, because i had asked
them before buying from other place.
Yes if the Camera alone without SD card, then yes..the price quoted to me was RM1,480.00.
But why would you buy a Camera w/o 4GB Panasonic class 4 SD card?.
Like i said in my earlier posting i was also quoted Rm1,000.00 w/o SD card..did i believe that supplier..NO.
No doubt if you wait for quite a long time you will be able to get it cheaper..

Do you want convenience or do you want to invest in a Dslr and Lenses.
If you feel the Lx3 suits you,like it suited me for the convenience, look no further.
Of course a Dslr is a Dslr...but you have to weigh the pro's and con's.
