engine resonance at certain rpm?

I tested my Waja CPS FC when driving from KL to Penang and managed to get about 11km/l on highway.

It was quite difficult to resist the desire to step more on the accelerator. Mostly the speed was around 120-130km/h.....sometime more. Luckily no speed trap. The odometer then was about 2000km. Maybe there will be some improvement in FC after 5k or 10k.....hopefully.

At one time step to 6.5k rpm to see the performance and the CPS engine sure give it all. There was a little vibration at 160km/h but only noticeable when you let go of the steering. If you're holding it, won't fell a thing. The car is very stable at high speed. Not to mention the good handling during cornering.

new car...FC is slightly higher coz engine need run in...i guess the friction of the piston is higher thts y slightly makan minyak la...but after 5k service..u really can feel the car more responsive and lifelier....

and oh ya....new car go ahead to give a full balancing and alignment....original alignment is crap...i got my car negative 1.5 deg camber..my tyre thread makan inside....good for track..not good for daily...

i top 205kph at bukit merah....i wana take photo but very scared..coz traffic is quite a dense...it takes quite abit of time to get there but it managed too.... doesnt feel the car falling apart though...

Guys, I was quoted RM250 for 3rd Service. Is that too expensive? 

I see in the first page is less than RM200 for engine oil, oil filter, s.plark, coolant etc.
Where can I get that service in Penang?

ur aircon belt, get it changed. Adding belting oil only temperory solve the problem after awhile it will come back.

so its not timing belt?.....is it under warantty?..coz after 3rd service, i sent my car to apek foreman d....afraid they dun1 process the claim...but the belt is tear and wear right? ...how MUCH will it be if i change at PESE?....aircond belt and timing belt is two dif thing ah?  

hmmm..means no aircond belt?..coz the sound from timing belt area.... ...how much will it be?..plz tell me da price..so that i wont kena potong..coz duno much on cars..

what you saw in the photo is the sharing belt for aircon and crankshaft. Timing belt is those inside the huge black color casing next to engine head. It cost u around RM60-80 for the aircon/crankpulley belt, timing belt wont give any noise unless it's timing chain.

Done my first service this morning..
using syntium 800 10w/30..

complain bout the spare tyre compartment generate heat... the technician there say it's normal due to exhaust pipe & mufler... he say it will done no harm.. he just check another gen2 cps and it's the same

complain bout my driver side power window got sound when open... he said it's the regulator problem    ... i dunno whut is it..  ..  they change it twice already but the same problem still occured.. so he ask me to come again on tuesdaym, he will ask the vendor to check whats the problem...

complain bout my front & rear bumper like not attach properly.. it make rattling noise when i close the door.. he refix the rear bumper bracket... and i think he forgot to adjust the front bumper...  ... what make me really        once i arrived home than the rear bumper start to make noise again when close doors... check it b4 leave SA there's no sound... check the front bumper... aiyooooo they never fix it... 

Thinking to add on the high flow air filter. What kind of high flow air filter would be good for the CPS? Any recommendations? What about the price range? Does installing it will void the warranty?

Acutally they never know bcos u can just tell them u service at other branch.

u refer back to the earlier photo of campro engine, the tensioner looks like drumstick.

anyway it looks nice. how about the noise? it's straight flow or s-flow?

hmm...yesterday i put some oil on the bearing..the sound dissappear...so its the bearing not the belt..why do u think so?...tighen up da bearing or wad shall i do with the bearing to solve da noise..?...but cold start up..got screeching sound from the belt after i putting oil on the bearing...normal ah?

suspension is the same. Btw the persona that you drive is Base line, Med line or High Line? As the base line weight is only 1170kg, Med line is 1195kg if compare to waja CPS is 1235kg. Secondly, It could be the size where waja is slightly wider and height is slightly lower compare to Persona.

oh..i see...mine is m-line auto...from the manual book its written 1220kg..btw...i have put some oil on the bearing (drumstick)...the sound gone....i guess not the belt...so what should i do? change bearing?

what is the wattage?
