Well, you have Neil Patrick Haris as Nightwing's voice laugh.gif
You should check out Mark Hamill's version of the Joker. I love it, so much so that I think it's better than TDK's lol.

But you could say that the Joker in the Red Hood suits the environment of the seriousness of the show. And hearing Jensen Ackles' voice keeps me popping out images of him from Supernatural sweat.gif

U sure its Jensen Ackels? Cuz I remember its John DiMaggio who did Joker for Under the Red Hood.

Btw, does anyone notice that this will be Nolan's first time presenting Batman in broad daylight in the movies? Every setting that Batman has ever been has been conceived as dark (even in the bank when Batman came to visit Gordon after the Joker's bank heist).

I wonder how will it work though.

Ohhhh, those two sentences weren't suppose to be connecting like that. Jensen Ackles is Red Hood lol.

Nice observation... indeed TDKR seem to have Batman fighting more during the day. Perhaps on his "conclusive" mission his identity will be revealed? Would love to see this happening before (and if) he does die at the end of it all.

Interesting article. As the replies to the post mentioned, hopefully it will be an exception to the rule ... which is not exactly a rule, heheh.

can hardly recognise tom hardy as bane
Watched Warriors (2011) and Thinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy (2011) last few weeks ago, Tom Hardy is quite a good actor .. (ok only in Inception, for me). Haven't watched Bronson; from the movie poster, he looked different also.
From Warriors as well, during the fighting scenes, the character Tom Hardy played barely said few words, but still impressively frightening (for his opponent); so, I guess the article linked by Calvin, where the author worried that Bane's dialogue and facial expression won't be clear becoz of his mask, as long as Bane's muscles and body speak the language, I hope it'll be enough. happy.gif

.....
For me, TDKR will be a thinking superhero movie to ponder about and re-watch while The Avengers will be a superhero popcorn movie, enjoyable while it last ... although the Japanese trailer for The Avengers does seems exciting. One is dark, another is colourful. biggrin.gif

he is quite right u know. the trilogy curse is spot on, i think only 1 of 20 trilogies can get the 3rd film to pawn the 2nd, for me it is the Matrix because the 2nd Matrix film sucks big time. and i don't think this will win TDK even if it is epic, just because of that brilliant clown in TDK.

and i lol at this quote talking about Heath Ledger: "I understand that one man does not make a movie (unless of course that movie is Cast Away)"

I think it's better if Bane is Ra's apprentice before Bruce, it would've work better.

And i think sometime during this movie batman will pulled Bane's mask off, or cut off one of his venom tubes

matrix 3 suck a lot..i think the only trilogy that are good in all three movies was LOTR..gets better in each sequel.

no, matrix 3 is much better than 2. 1 is the best of course.

incorrect, i was very disappointed with LOTR 3, it's the worst LOTR film if u've read the book, it's supposed to be the best but Peter Jackson screwed it up. LOTR 2 was the best.

i am sure this will be the best. im sure he had in his mind how to properly close his legacy. give a closure to this rendition of batman so no one else can muck it up (if we assume batman will be no more at end of movie)

It won't be Nolan's fault. It's how you perceive someone would appear much better than Heath Ledger. 95% of the world population who watch will compare and you will begin to hear the madness that was not meant to be compared in the first place.

come on

LOTR 3 > LOTR 2 ? naw.

The only 3rd > the second were movies transformer (even the 1st), and very very few others that slipped my mind. Even Shia LaBeouf & michael bay admitted 2nd Transformer movie sucked.

I dont think The Dark Knight Rises WILL surpass TDK but equalling it, of close to it. TDK met the expectations & Heath delivered a scintillating performance which I highly doubt both hardy nor bale would match, though christian has been consistently impressive himself. (maybe half the time they need to be behind the mask or speak in a muffled voice cool2.gif )

Death of a character (Rachel Dawes) in the TDK jolted the series and of course the sudden death of heath before the release raised the awareness to an unpresented level.

The only way for TDKR to surpass TDK is to have a shocker, a main character being terminated not just battered to pulp or mauled (done tht in TDK)

That will happen halfway in TDKR. Or else we won't see Tom Conti.
