Going there tomorrow with my mother and grandmother.
I'm driving all the way from KLCC.
actually I want to attend my class until 11am (Im in Cyberjaya) and then pick up my mom in KLCC, ETA 12pm there.
So I think will reach malacca about 3-4pm. Is the Jongker street still open??

Please anyone gimme information, really need to plan it tonight.

sad.gif what a bad news, but thanks for let me know.
What about Chung Wah, Taming Sari, the ferry, or other attraction?
I'm not very familiar with Malacca so I plan to just park my car near the Jongker Street and then walk to some of tourist attraction.
Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Chung Wah usually sells out fast, perhaps not during non-weekends ..you can try your luck
Taming Sari is open
The ferry refers to the karaoke and makan place? should be open
Jonker street itself will be close, but there are still shophouses running their business as usual
From jonker, you can walk towards stadhuys, A famosa, st paul's hill and try the Taming Sari..will be plenty of museums along the route

Yeah... if not chung wah, hoe kee also will be good, since my grandmother want to try chicken rice ball.
I think I will go lha tomorrow with or without jongker street.
blush.gif

Is there any other tourist attraction I could visit except museum (My group is all 49yo+ lady none of them will interested on it)
Prefer something for sightseeing but will be better if not lots of walk require. Like the Taming Sari, just sit and enjoy biggrin.gif
*
you could bring them to try satay celup and cendol too..plenty of antique and souvenir shop at jonker
taming sari will end in just over 15 mins..
instead of letting them walkk, you can let them ride trishaw, but ask the fare first and see if its ok
also can try the river boat cruise

enjoy ur trip smile.gif

yeah i agree. It's school holidays too so i'm sure it's open. But will be tory crowded.

The jonker street (the stalls) will be closed regardless it is holiday or not, because the roads are meant to be opened for traffic during mon-thurs. You guys can go ahead to check for yourself whistling.gif

beside ChungWah,Nadeje,XiangJi,Capitol Satay Celup anything more?
I heard my friend said Tuesdy the whole Jonker Street is closed. Is that true??

we're staying at Avillion how long it takes if we walk?
smile.gif

The Jonker street is only open on friday-sunday, ie. the pasar malam style. On other days, you can still find some of the shoplots or stalls open too, but only some. From Avillion..hmmm 30-45 minutes i guess
