Hi buddies,

Anyone can recommend a hotel to me in Melaka that is near to beach, which can hv a sea view maybe.
Next week will need to bring my family go there~
Top priority is comfortable and clean~
Thanks in advance.

Swiss Garden hotel, Hatten Hotel, Holiday Inn, Novotel
*
Swiss Garden is further on the mainland..maybe can only see the sea at higher levels. Holiday Inn would be best I guess

Yes, need to use parking coupon. Can get it at various MBMB booths or shops(eateries, sundry, etc).

thanks

how is novatel melaka location?
novatel is rm205.2/night with breakfast whereas equatorial is rm224 w/o bf  bangwall.gif

i am more concern about the car park.
*
Novotel is within walking distance to Equatorial. It is at the center of the entertainment/business district Melaka Raya while Equatorial is at the edge. Eq is nearer to the three shopping complexes and nearer to historical site but the distance difference is no problem really.

Both have parking lots but not sure what is the charge. Maybe can contact them to inquire. I would choose Novotel as it is still very new.

*
There is no pantai klebang already haha. It is now a huge reclaimed land. Not sure if you can walk till the sandy part to view the sunset or not. Check out google map

Decided on equatorial. Here now.  Anyway at night nearby here can get good laksa?
*
QUOTE(ScooterBoi @ Jun 22 2016, 09:21 PM)
lol I doubt there is any, its not penang.

Try the stalls in Newton - next to Mahkota Parade.
*
The newton next to Mahkota Parade is terrible. Have not try their laksa though. The old Newton food court 2.189013, 102.261569 is better but still nowhere near a good bowl of nyonya laksa. Something fancier, can go to nancy's kitchen. If during lunchtime, can try Donald and Lily or if you willing to drive further to town, Nyonyalicious.

Also another tip.
Download 'SVP Parking Melaka' app to pay parking online.
Managed to dodge 2 'bullets' (summons) on Sunday. Saw by my own eyes 2 authorities writing summons on other cars but not mine.
Yes, you need to pay parking on weekends and if I am not wrong you do not need to pay parking on Mondays and Tuesdays.
*
Correct. Monday and Tuesday free parking.
