There are a few branches of Wilson chicken rice in Melaka.
The best 1 I would prefer located opposite great wall kfc beside notre dame
*
Agree with you. I think that is the first branch, the rest dont really maintain the taste.

One more tips : If you're near jalan ong kim wee, MUST go to Yeast Pastry House and buy their black color swiss roll : Charcoal pudding swiss roll. RM11+ I think. To me its damn super awesome. Their cheese stick RM4 also damn nice.

Yeast PAstry House is nearby Melaka Casa De Cafe or Melaka Kensington. =]

Yeast Pastry House :
No.3 Jalan Kota Laksamana 3/8, Taman Kota Laksamana Seksyen 3
75200 Melaka

Operating Hours : 09:00 - 22:00

Agree on the pastry house, recommended thumbup.gif

How long to go to go from jonker to malacca straits mosque and st.paul hill by car? Including traffic.
*
jonker to the mosque will be around 20-30 mins on weekends as the traffics are crazy.

jonker to the parking area at stadhuys around 10-15 mins, then you need to climb up to st. paul hill.

awww. sad.gif I used google maps to agak2 get a distance, jonker walk around 1.5km seems possible. hmm.gif

but yeah, the historic belt area is around 2km from avillion.. laugh.gif at the same time, I'm just going with my bro, no family or wimmen anything, yet it does seems possible at the same time. tongue.gif lugging along our messenger packs only. gotta hope for a good weather.

anyway, quick question, those popular food like satay celup etc do they usually have a long queue? and what is the ideal time to go? I was wondering of like hopping in slightly after lunch hours.
*
I dont think satay celup open during lunch time. Best is you check when they open business and be there to avoid the queue building up.

waaaaaaaaattttttttttt. okay nevermind, dont think I wanna go for satay celup after all, read alot of reviews about the sauce being 'recycled' for the next few customers that uses that same pot.
chicken rice ball (chung wah), durian cendol (East & West Rendezvous ), char siew rice and thats all I guess.

have you tried The Baboon House before?
*
erm, okay what..can go as dinner since you will be there for several nights. the chances to have the recycled sauce is lesser if you are the first few customers, provided they dont recycle from yesterday's biggrin.gif or maybe you can try the pork satay..i dont know what is the fuss but my friends from other states always ask me to bring them eat satay babi rclxub.gif

nope, never try the baboon house (i don't know about it's existance until now biggrin.gif)
