is there such thing is a fake epiphone?
i saw a lp custom ebony for 1.8k
while a standard lp for 1.5k

this shop is in summit usj


is it fake??

while in GUITAR STORE
they selling customs for around 2.5k++

that shop in summit is popular for selling fakes.

the Bullseye at rhapsody in Mid Valley is sooooooooooooo fake.

It has the styling of the Gibson (the color and Pickup Selector cover), but with an Epiphone headstock and EMG-HZ pickups......

if you're really evil, you can report the fake bullseye to sweelee and rhapsody will lose their gibson/epiphone dealership.

Totally agreed with u.At least could help us 2 be wary of fakes.

So how do you differentiate a fake and a real one?

workmanship, tone, and easiest- fakes don't stay in tune haha

my friends once buy guitar from bentley
because my friends so noob about guitar
bentley stuff kencing him
they give him guitar with a broken pickup
when middle one selected,no sound produce
my friends tot it suppose to be like that
after a while, i went to his home
and told him after testing his guitar
my point here is that some shop really tipu their costumer because some of them really noob
so they like taking advantages

In this case do we call it FAKE or more suitable using COPY??

because nobody will believe an ~rm2k gibson lespaul (instantly people will suspect if u put that price range ). So, ~rm2k epiphone (fake) is more believeable.

I saw the guitar too at that shop. Did the epi les paul standard ever come in goldtop? And that guitar had "les paul standard" on the truss rod cover.

Btw, "fake" and "copy" are 2 different things. Fake is like some piece of junk with a Gibson/Epi logo. Copy's are those brands that are based-on a famous brand or model.

Let's not spoil the reputation of shops selling "copies" as opposed to "fakes."
