thought P1i & W9160 must be using the same type of screen since they're almost alike except the difference in keypad & memory. anyway, i'm really glad our P1i have no hardware issues except the green tint. quite a stable phone i must say.

the theme's creator doesn't even mentioned about how to replaced those main menu icons in his post. i guess gotta read through all those guide on how to edit menu icons. there's a guide on the first post of this thread, but only applies to changing to G700 & G900's icons.

@sunnyboy: it's an online validation of my good ol' Dell Inspiron 6400's specs.

@Elvinyew: you need to set some settings on your router.

(only do this if you still can't view YouTube after installing CorePlayer)

1. Go to your router settings page. (usually is 192.168.1.1)
2. Go to Services or any category till you found one named 'DMZ' or Demilitarized Zone.
3. Enable it & key in the IP address of your P1i. (can be found when connected to WiFi, go to WLAN in your phone & click MORE)
4. Restart router
5. DONE!

regarding the upgrading to Walkman 3.0, just overwrite the PRIVATE folder. for other folders, i copied the contents manually, eg. copy & paste the CONTENTS (NOT the folders) from the Walkman folder to the specified folder.

downloaded the icons off some iPhone's forum after did some tedious googling.

status bar icons are from X1's.

@squall_lay: no prob man. got tons of other nice-looking themes too if you guys want it. been modding my phone's appearances since my end of my finals. 'cause i can't find anything better to do.

@dynamike: if your budget allows, get the original authorised set. its around RM400 more than AP sets, which is around RM14XX. AP sets is around RM950-1000. just get from 1st tier AP companies like Asia Mobile, Telstra or Pacific.

Opera Mobile is our built-in P1i browser, we got it pre-installed when we buy our phone. while Mini is the lite version, seems to load pages faster but does not support Flash.

the last time i faced with this problem, i couldn't find a way out & decided to reflash the phone. took me whole night to download the FW & reconfigure my settings.

@arvinddakshen: just try to uninstall the previous installation files by deleting them one by one & install a new one very carefully following all the given instructions. it's a simple task. me myself wasn't convinced to try it at first but once it's done, i realised it's quite easy.

@kousou: download SEUS from SE's website. hold the C alphabet button, on the QWERTY keyboard.

@sunnyboy: i've tried but i don't really like it. kinda laggy to me.

if it's your first attempt then just follow the instructions carefully, eg. where to put the files specifically, how to copy. u won't go wrong.

i'm not sure do you need a specific firmware to make Walkman 3.0 works but seems that you're on Germany,Ireland & Belgium side. i'm running on R9K009 Generic World 1.

he's on the latest firmware. but not on the Generic World side.
