@dynamike : there's actually a lyrics section? yet to discover that. by the way, did anyone of you with Walkman 3.0 experience laggy interface when browsing songs? or just me with my overloaded M2? unsure.gif

Anyone success to apply the Swmail Sound Mod v1.1?

I did the sound mod......but when I try to use the speakerphone, recipient will not able listen to my voice.

Anyone have solution for this?
Coz I intend to do the Supersound Mod on my phone.....
*
apply Sound Mod Full v1.1 then SuperSound FINAL by dongxanh. SuperSound has a patch file which will solve the speakerphone problem. it's the latest version & the sound quality has actually improved a lot.

So its normal to have speakerphone problem after Sound Mod Full v1.1 eh?

Ok, will give SuperSound a try after this smile.gif
Update, the speakerphone problem gone after with SuperSound patch.
It seem the sound quality isn't that great still, at least with the loudspeaker.
Maybe have to tune the setting a bit.
*
yeah. you have to fine tune the settings abit by editing the file with notepad. smile.gif

Try to uninstall the applications? Later only reinstall back. I have no problem with core player.
To uninstall: Control panel -> Other-> Uninstall
I can't use Fring, don't know why. I have just installed Slick, looks pretty good. You may try, teikwing is also using. thumbup.gif

I've upgraded my Opera Mini too, done Core Player 1.30 installation, installed Torch, Walkman 3.0, sound mod and super sound too.

What else I can do? Gosh, I'm addicted to these applications. drool.gif

you might have misplaced certain files or didn't copy all of them as required. try to check again. it's normal since there are so many files involved. me myself was really blurred too when moving/copying. sweat.gif

after 6 years using SE, now im back using Nokia symbian.
*
bro squall_kay, you took the jumped to Nokia's boat dy?

seriously 5800 Tube is really tempting, given the price & specs, i bet it'll be the next best-bang-for-the-buck phone after P1i. i've yet to test it myself but the reviews & photos are enough to poison me. (abit off topic laugh.gif )

anyway, i'll bid farewell to P1i very soon too. sad.gif nonetheless, it's been such a great phone, frankly the best one i ever used so far. smile.gif

@fruitie : yeah. 'cause i've got a good bargain on an iPhone 3G. the price is too tempting if not would still keep my good ol' P1i. but i'll still lepak at this thread like usual. it's just like my alma-mater. much like the ex-M600i/P990i thread. smile.gif

@Lineage : actually AP sets are are unusually higher than original sets for this model. original is around RM13XX while AP ones are RM1.4K above, based on what some users have surveyed. the affordable price and nice specs are what created the craze over it. sweat.gif

this 5800 can even made other phone users like us keep talking about it, proven its hype. biggrin.gif

come out already so cheap..can imagine how is the quality and material using..i know the spec is good..but still suspecting the quality  thumbup.gif

haha. i would not wanna comment on its quality yet since i haven't got my hands on one but what i can say is it's currently the most affordable phone ever made by Nokia so far. Nokia usually price their models based on their specs, and based on 5800's specs, it's definitely well above the current market price of RM13XX. (heck, RM13XX is even for original sets. sweat.gif)

but who knows, based on the worsening economic condition, that's how Nokia tried to boost their sales. maybe SE should try to follow their business strategy. thumbup.gif

now i compare SE with nokia, SE definately expensive compare to nokia..but SE's design is better than nokia..especially N series, not really like it at all.. thumbup.gif
*
urm..it still depends on models i think. some N series is definitely more expensive. take N95 8GB, N96 for example. X1 is SE's top of the line model but it's based on WinMo which is a totally a different category from Nokia's focus on Symbian.

but it all boils down to each users' preferences. i'm definitely okay with all the brands. will choose one which best suits my budget with the specs i'm looking for. smile.gif

@Elvinyew: laugh.gif haha. don't call me tai ko lah. i'm just an ordinary P1i user. still learning too. biggrin.gif selling it for slightly above market price for used sets since mine is still in very good outlook condition.

@fruitie: i did the Camera Mod by dongxanh and i don't actually see any much difference in terms of quality actually.

one thing i dont like bout iphones is that their touchscreen only supports skin contact. which means you cant use your fingernails for those with big thumbs and cant use stylus too sad.gif

yeah. it uses static electricity from you fingers. actually my thumb is quite big & i can use it comfortably now. just need some time to get use to it. smile.gif

still the best hard key QWERTY is P1i lah. no doubt. thumbup.gif

i wonder why SE stop supporting UIQ platform doh.gif its so good
*
it's due to the lack of development in its platform, softwares and also lack of interest and popularity among users out there. too bad huh? but i think Symbian has a bright future still. just look at what Nokia have done with its full touch-based 5800 XpressMusic. hopefully SE will be able to keep up. smile.gif

hi..

i got minor problem with my p1i.

i cant delete the sms in my inbox. plus, all the sms got like a sim card symbol.

is there a solution for this? if change setting, how to change it?

i got fed up to have to open each sms and only then i can delete it.
*
the sim card symbol indicates that those messages are from your sim. should be no problem deleting it. don't think it's a side effect from modding.
