btw Sony n Ericsson both are dying company who get married together n improving after that, but now their pace are slowing down n even they said market fault that make they cannot sell well (refer here )
n if u said like that, did u assume all those nokia buyers are stupid? coz there are sooo many nokia buyers compare to se buyers
se advantage over nokia? certain phone yes but certain not, especially those SE flagship model, why? SE flagship (most, except p1i which is valuable) js normal feature phone, limited performance which is diff compare to nokia flagship model, smartphone, end user can take advantage off it, either they fully utilize it or not, is another story.
after all, nokia phone more feature packed than SE. even in camera and video which SE with bear the SONY name they didnt perform well in 5mpx (hope 8mpx they perform a lot better), lucky their walkman line up still nice (audio is subjective issue, quite hard to determine which one the best)

simple example, g900 vs n82, both device have quite same price, so whats so great about g900 when compare to n82? perhaps g900 audio via earphone perform better, touch screen, UIQ, UIQ less software then s60, less user less complaints, camera? g900 doesnt stand at all when compare to n82...

se trump card now lay on c905, x1 n might be w902 only to turn things around...lucky c905 will be price cheaper than INNOV8, if not can say bye2 already

i choose p1i coz, bigger screen, qwerty, look more exclusive

well, nokia have d advantage since its d 1st to breaktrough d market wif new models. bt if we look properly, most nokia is also the same. unlike se 2003~2004. se jv oni took pace fr its k500, k700. where as nokia was since 6100, 6610, 7320(nt sure), and a pda since 2002~2003. cant reali rmb d actual date.
and all nokia models are nicer and nicer CASINGS bt all same functions. unlike se which act have diff(walkman2.0,3.0 ect).
Phone industry will continue for few more years b4 something comes and replace it. who knows, what may become of the future. bt for sure, which ever offers a better function wif d least bugs will trump over other fon. money is no longer so an issue for most ppl(if u've been to kl and subang u'll understand).
nt to say that which is better. bt some models maybe more popular in that certain brand. depending on the user and d spects of a certain phone.

1 thing, i face some problem when connection to XS++

"iii) press connect
iv) turn off your phone, remove and put back the battery, connect the USB cable while holding C button.
v) select GDFS and press backup GDFS"

i hold the "C" button when conenct the USB cable to my phone,
XS++ seems like nothing happen, and keep showing "Detecting Phone, Please Wait.

Is "C" button means the same keypad area as numeric "7"?
Everytime i put back battery, Hold "C" and connect the USB cable, XS++ nothing happen,. but my windows USB detection keep pop up, do i need to bother it?

I agreed with what squall_kay has said. I also not fan of any phone brand. As long as the phone functions suit me and it's within my budget, then i'll buy it. The most important is, we happy with our phone, so no need do any brand comparison right?

If you don't even like your phone, you'll keep buying and changing new phone so that your satisfaction can be fulfilled finally. Am I correct?

U need install PC suite 1st as it contains all Sony Ericsson Symbian 9 drivers.

Alamak... first time my P1i giving me problem (bad phone! naughty phone!). I just got a bluetooth headset and have been trying out the voice dialing (pretty cool). Then today I had to restart the phone, and now:
a) my DreamConnect won't work ("contacts database not ready" even after 3 hours).
b) SMSes in my inbox don't show who they're from (only show the number).
c) incoming calls only show the number (not the name of the contact).

Am I the only one with this issue? Aiyo...
