Daikin & Mitsubishi electric has bigger condenser unit can be cooling faster than Panasonic use mini size of condenser to save cost.

The only Panasonic deluxe type has fully auto swing up down & left right.

If compare all here for Mitsubishi starmex 8.5k at 640w only

Recommended to install Mitsu Mr. Slim..

Planning to install one more at the other room & found the price dropped RM850 with installation but shop told me there will be 15% increase soon...

Below are quotation i get from contractor.

1) To conceal Air Con Water Pipe & Copper Pipe - RM250

2) Installation Charges for 2.0HP PANASONIC Inverted Air Con - RM250

3) Installation Charges for 1.0HP PANASONIC Inverted Air Con - RM200

4) To supply 2.0HP Air Con Copper Pipe - RM18

5) To supply 1.0hp Air Con Copper Pipe  - RM16

Are this price reasonable?

I get RM1250, R410, Daikin Inverter, good price?
No installation.

may i know how much the  Mitsubishi Electric, MR Slim costs you guys?

I get Daikin quote as below with standard installation.

1.0HP - Normal  RM800
1.5HP - Normal  RM1090
2.0HP - Invertor  RM2420
2.5HP - Normal  RM2150

Is it cheap?

Just install mitsubishi mr slim 1hp...quite good for me... but i bought non inverter because not using it for 8 hours per day...maybe around 4 hours

Hi All sifu, need your advices should i install non-inventor in my Living hall?

My Aircond guy advices me don't install inventor in living hall because my living hall is open space together with dining hall. If open aircond it forever can't reach the degree(eg. 24') i want and the aircond will non-stop blowing so won't save the electric. Is it truth?

I plan to install 2.5hp for living hall and 1.5hp for dining hall. Seldom will open together. Both non-inventor unit.

Is depend what you want.. Stay to old house and enjoy with old tech. Nothing to improve over an latest technology.

Since inverter so great we died died must install inverter unit, unless you're the salesman still can't accepted the real life..

Why I would saying like that.. Cause I paid for money and installed a non inverter to be made my night can't sleep as well.. Something used a brick and smatch on leg..

My experience for Panasonic non inverter unit only.

1st have to set 20 degree and 2nd fan speed to be cooling the room temp down.

2nd non as cooling faster.

3rd keep noisy when on and off.

4th. The outdoor condenser really smaller size like mini aircond size.

5th what for still using a non inverter.

Don't think non inverter will be cheaper as below Rm200 to compare from inverter unit.

But your monthly bill has been cost you how many times to let you pay for repairs as Rm700 for PCB.

Don't look down the inverter really easily kong than non inverter unit as well.

For most compressor usually able to last 10 yrs easily.

i recommended here, you want to trust an install unit or don't trust and still thinking these is easily getting spoil or costly to be repair on parts.. you may get a wrong info... cause you're not a user here, you can't comments anything an inverter not as good than non-inverter unit.

since i am the user from non-inverter switch to inverter to be enjoy the right choice here.
from what i know of my few inverter units has been usage over an warranty of my repair cost all worth it..

becoz my montly bill cost me all less than Rm300 max. to be enjoy of 2.5hp from morning 10am to 12pm and the rest not need explain here.
