Hi,

I'm planning to buy aircon for my master bedroom and at first thinking of using 1.5HP, then some friends came to my house and mentioned they use 1.0 only for their room which is about my size.

Here's the layout of my room, measurement in cm. The line in red color are the windows (3 panels and not tinted) and there's a walk in wardrobe (with sliding door) and inside the wardrobe is the toilet. The blue color area is where I'm going to put my aircon. I moved it from its original point above the window to make place for full length curtains. There's a ceiling fan in the middle of the room.



It's very warm in the afternoon, that I don't dare to take afternoon nap in it on weekends. During dry days (which is very frequent nowadays), it's warm at night too. I just want to maintain my room temperature at around 22 to  24 degrees.

Is 1.0 sufficient for my case? And is HP going to affect the noise it make?

All forumers, What is the comment about the the York 1.5hp ceiling cassette type aircond?
Is it better or worse than 1.5hp spit unit? TQ~~
