hi guys,

I bought over a place with 2 YORK airconds (as attached below). I also saw 2 remotes. 1 Original and the other 1 is a generic universal remote.

Weird thing is, both of them has the beep sound when i press the power button with the original remote...but nothing happens after that. The universal remote does nothing at all. cry.gif

Anyone knows what is wrong? could it be the remote? I tried going around the aircon but there is no manual start. Hope someone can help.

Is there a kind of pump that pumps out the water from the aircond if the pipe is not able to be placed diagonally to let it flow naturally?

My air cond seems very far from the toilet, which is the only water outlet that is alllowed and is below the plaster ceiling. I heard from a contractor (who I did not engage in the end) saying that the device existed so that the pipe can be concealed in the wall and go up to the plaster ceiling.
