hi all, have some questions

my existing AC is old, pretty old in fact, but came with the condo

issue is that after servicing/cleaning and also gassing up, it runs cold for a while, then after that just blows room temp air out. is there a problem somewhere that can be fixed, without replacing the entire unit?

also, any trustworthy AC guys out there that can be recommended?

Thanks ozak. Fixing a new AC, i was told that the piping also needs to be changed, and cannot reuse the existing one. This will entail a lot of hacking to get this done

thanks Luism, however i have to take note that i will need to hack up and change the piping, or can the existing pipes be reused? i'm led to believe that they cannot be reused

Liuism, but that would involve at least some hacking, right? i cannot afford that type of work done after my reno, unfortunately
