Intend to install a 2.5-3HP ceiling mounted air con in my new house living room. As this is the first time buying ceiling mounted, is there any advice as to which brand is good and the price? Any disadvantage using ceiling compared to wall mounted? Many thks

QUOTE(fx_53_xt @ May 10 2011, 05:36 AM) i was hunting for an air conditioner and i have the same problem as you. Shop A says Mitsubishi Electric Mr. Slim is good and Shop B say mitsubishi heavy industry is good, simply because they carry those. I ended up with mitsubishi electric Mr. Slim due to : 1) 2+7 years warranty 2) My hometown air cond which my parents installed about 8 years ago was a mitsubishi, and they works great up till today without a single hiccup. The shop offers me RM1k for 1HP including installation, cash price. mind to share which shop you bought from? I want to get a few. Thks
