guys, how does the aircond contractor direct the drain pipe from the head unit of the aircond other then pulling a pipe outside to the roof?

The reason is i want to ask some indon to hack the wall for copper laying, so the aircond contractor can just come and lay without hacking.
*
You meant you want to ask your contractor to ready a pipe and conceal it so that in future the aircon folk could just lay the copper cable through the pipe, rights?

Something like that, but I will do the hacking and the aircond guys just  only come and lay the copper pipes.

Just want to know normally where do installers redirect the aircond drain pipes when conceal?

This was suggested by my aircond contractor if i wanted to save on the cost of hacking since my house is currently undergoing a major renovation.
*
How much you will save up by asking your contractor to conceal instead of aircon folk?
As you need to pay you contractor to hack the wall (No free job lal), and if the pipe position not correct, who will redo the conceal?
If the cost not much different, I will say ask the aircon folk to do it lol, so that end of day anything wrong will be he problem.

the 2 cables outside is it just hanging there or connected?

Why not get the contractor who install the piping for you to install the air con too? better get the same guy to do the job end to end to prevent finger pointing in future.
*
Agreed. And the best is asking him to confirm whether indeed for invester before you purcahse it...
because after you purchase and deliver, you on your own and your contractor could said is "Sorry, mistake" shakehead.gif

It means if deliever after than I will have to re-clean my house / painting (if) and call the aircon folk again ? ...
How come they dont keep stock once customer pay full? Or I should not pay full at all?

Which ESH? I had a terrible experience with ESH Puchong. First, they were late in delivering the fridge. Then when the fridge arrives, it's damaged. When I went to the shop to ask for a new one, they said no more stock, have to wait. I got so pissed I asked for my money back. They said it will take them weeks to process that request. I raised hell and the HQ finally gave me a cheque.

Puchong ESH....

Weikee
I purchased during the roadshow and indicated will get from them around Dec...

Now I either Wait / Cancel it (but I have pay full), downgrade from 2HP to 1.5HP and get something for rest of balance... vmad.gif

Free on visiable piping and limit distance.
If you want conceal or extend the distance, you need to pay.
If you didn't want installation, normally will get cheaper.

Added on December 20, 2011, 12:42 amDropby ESH Puchong and look for the saleman, endup notified that he actually base on Klang not Puchong, hence early statement will need to be changed from ESH Puchong to ESH Klang suck!!! mad.gif

ANytwhere, have confirmed by the sale personal included the ESH staff at Puchong that they didn't have Mits 2HP hence will get refund back as I didn't agreed to upgraded (to 2.5HP) or downgrade (1.5HP), as that have conflict statement. My installor indicated I can downgrade to 1.5HP but can't upgrade to 2.5HP due to the piping, but ESH tech indicated can upgrade to 2.5HP but can't downgrade to 1.5HP... icon_question.gif

Maked a visit to LH electric (next to Top Ten) as recommended by a LYN member, they have stock on hand and after negotiate it only RM50 more expensive than ESH offer (during roadshow). Make a called to the ESH saleman to reconfirm that the he were do the cancellation and refune within 1 week time.

Drive to LH again, pay and go to the factory to get the 2HP...and solved one of my problem.

A joked from ESH.
Yesterday they delieved the aircons to me and together with the 2HP unit as well, and I asked the lori driver
Jo: Is this for me as well?
Drive: Yes
Jo: Is not your company said didn't have it? As I already told the saleman and he confirmed didn't have. Why you get it from?
Drive: Maybe someone delay the deliver day, hence they just take and give you, but since you didn't want, let me call the saleman...
Jo: ....

After 10 min while they unload and bring rest of items to me house, so I just call the sale personal
Jo: xxxx How come they delivered the 2HP? Is not you indicated didn't have and will do the refund? Now how? As I already have a unit with me now
Sale: Hmmm..I'm not sure, but you really didnt want it?
Jo: Yes, I didn't want it as your end already confirmed didn't have yet after i get and you delieved it...
Sale: you really didnt want it?
Jo: Yes, I didn't want
Sale: OK...I will ask the driver send back.
Jo: OK, when will I get my refund...
Sale: Next few days...
Jo: OK...make sure. Else I will complain to HQ...

And today I just installed 4 units of them thumbup.gif and damn cool when 4 units ON together except the bill will be mad.gif
* It been turned ON just because after installation and need to ON for at least an hour

can 1hp piping support 1.5hp piping?
*
You need to check the spec of the aircon, and your piping whether can support or not.
If is old piping, than you will not able to use Invertor aircon lol

I normally will set the aircon ON for 2 hours included turn the fan ON, where it will make the room cooling faster. 2 hours down the road, the room cool, aircon auto OFF, I already sleep like baby lol...safe $$$ too

No real time on off timer wink.gif

What you want the Real time for? You use it as time?
Just set the timer for How long you want it start or stop when need, instead of a timer to start in where keep let the aircon in standby mode.

It also depend whether any glass door to block the aircon go behind (kitchen area), else never been cool and your a/c will keep running non stop.

Mitsubishi Mr. Slim for non-inverter type and easy clean model
Mitsubishi Startmex for inverter type and easy clean model
Mitsubishi Heavy Duty non/inverter, just like York, panasonic, Daikin without easy clean.

so you prefer which one?  rclxms.gif
*
all my 6 units using Mitsubishi Mr. Slim for non-inverter type, as I'm not frequence ON, even if ON also maybe max of 3 hours.

Guess your "Mitsubishi Heavy Duty" are referring to the modal are maked from "Mitsubishi Heavy Industries" instead of from Mitsubishi Electric (Melco), and first one more toward industries used hence more noise, and the last one are more commercial used...

anyone can share what is installation cost (assuming all wiring done) for

1 HP?
1.5HP? inverter
1.5HP non inverter
2HP
*
If your wiring already done included the pipe / core as well? You seem like having mixed modal and is all the cables already identified which to be use? As the piping can't be intercharge example 1 and 2 HP wiring are different, and Inerter and Non inverter wiring are different too...
Assuming what you said is correct, than each unit should not be more than RM100@ (only fixed it up without any cables or piping), alternative is cheap with the shop you buy and see how much they charge you.
