For people who stay in a Condo / Studio where space is limited, is it a wiser option to get a Washing Machine + Dryer combo?

2 function in 1 device.

Checked around the price is about RM2999, is it worth buying?

Pro:
Space-saving.
Nicer surrounding look (no need to hang up your clothes at laundry/balcony esp. those who stay in a condo).

Con:
If parts failure, 2 devices also cannot use.
Expensive.

Kindly comment, thank you. smile.gif

You have to check the WM load and max ou want to wash.

The dryer side will consume electricity more. Unless you don't mind, you can use every wash.

Nowadays it is very reliable. Not easy breakdown. My 1 running for 3yrs+ already.

Thanks ozak for the feedback.

The one that I checked out is washing 7kg, dry 4kg.

What brand are you using?

The RM2999 price is from LG Harvey Norman.

I search around and it is the cheapest I can get. Harvey selling at almost 5k at that time. sweat.gif This kind of WM is not popular too I guess.

My LG can spin till 1200rpm. But it look and sound scary. The whole floor feel like vibrate as the WM is place at upstair.

So mostly I set it at 1000rpm is enough. Spinning too fast have a bad effect to your cloth. It will stress your cloth linning. Specially those rubberband type.

To minimise the sound and vibration, you need to place a rubber pad at the 4 leg side. Than adjust the leg to level the WM. Leveling will take some time and effort. If you have leveling tool like those contractor will be easy. Do this when spinning time and observe the sound and vibration.

Panasonic WM is a reliable brand, but Samsung WM looks and feel very solid, especially at the door and door hinge (FrontLoading type).....

rclxub.gif Dunno which to get.

My friend bought a Electrolux Washer+Dryer Combo (because stay at condo), his clothes always without fail came out all wrinkled. Any idea how to solve this? I told him to buy this Bounce sheet that you can throw into the dryer to soften the clothes. Anyone use it before?
