Hello ejan,

Sorry for being busy body since I have no knowledge on washing machine.

Speaking as a consumer and from economic sense, I wouldn't repair this machine regardless the brand. At present, you can buy a brand new, 7kg FL for RM1600 with 1 year functional warranty.

5 years old used, new motor + door module, 1 month warranty == RM800
new machine    , brand new everything      , 1 year warranty    == RM1600

Also remember the 5 years old control panel and you wouldn't want to gamble how long it will last.

Just my 0.02.

Regards,
Kevin

Actually if you really found on FL was helpful and much cleaner than TL, why not invest a bit go with beyond 7-8kg and get the inverter motor + vibration reduction balance design as well..

Otherwise just do the repair and continue use back only.

Buy a washer should not too worry about thier warranty at all..

Like my case now for my samsung WW8000 still under M'sia warranty, but bring to S'pore here.. Is totally consider no warranty at all or even failure on any parts would be throw aside too.
http://www.samsung.com/my/consumer/home-ap.../WW12H8420EW/FQ

Cause In SG not available for it 12kg model at all.

What ever your concern just go a head.

Get a inverter motor really worth it, cause noise is very quiet only spining and vibration noise too.

Against power saving should do well on inverter motor only, traditional AC motor really do quite badly on vibration and noise so just avoid to used beyond 1200-1400 spin at all.

Just the simple design non inverter would do perfectly to supersound bro brows.gif

I've damaged few WM by putting full load all the time just to show how unreliable they are.
But the WMs that I'm using that does not put on full load all the time do last longer.

sure lah... drove kancil but ferry 5 heavy adult for sure on the tyres and steel rims can't last longer than driving alone only...

Hello,

Thanks for all your input. Appreciated

My shortlists, rank by choice.
Samsung WW80H5400EW  @ RM2.4K
LG WD-PD8010WM (+Intelligent Washing System)  @ RM2.3K
LG WD-MD8120WM  @ RM2.2K

The above 3 models share something in common, 8kg direct drive and inverter.

I am not quite sure; it seems to me that LG has a better absorber system in 8KG. Samsung's VRT plus only available on larger capacity, such as Kimsim's WW8000 imported from Malaysia. biggrin.gif

I didn’t choose Samsung 8kg WW80H5290EW because it’s belt driven.
Intelligent Washing System in LG is similar to Panasonic’s Econavi.

Thanks in advance for all your comment/suggestion.

Regards,
Kevin

Check here, if you saw the Samsung inverter has been using DD long time ago, so no more introduce their DD again, for all new design they will introduce with eco bubble for works with cold wash for power saving

i'm start with FL.. what is problem with TL? mind to share? I tot TL already lots of improvement now.

how about samsung after sale? heard not really good.
*
TL never can improve as much than FL, otherwise increse the price tag like FL do you will consider to buy it?

Like tissue paper put in pocket from TL can be easily damage the tissue paper like debris, from FL still keep inside pocket as a complete without damage at all.

After used FL you won't back to TL anymore cause damage cloths can be very lesser.

If my machine rosak, I will consider getting a Hitachi 2in1 washer/dryer. I like the features 👍🏼

Btw why my clothes shrinks after using the dryer? 😵
*
Hitachi drum too small and much expansive, why not consider for common model like samsung or lg.. unlike you needs all items to be hitachi brand.. drool.gif

Sorry I no like Korean brands 😜
It's big enough for two person. I'm using 8kg now only. Besides the dryer can take 7kg which is almost the same as LG

And Hitachi model can do self cleaning its own drum.
*
samsung also have, they called clean drum.

which brand is the best/affordable for dryer+washer combo?
*
LG or Samsung & electronlux has few options for you.

If wanna concern about best & affordable should be lesser choice for you and getting smaller drum & weight too

All Japanese front load washer dryer is more expensive compared to korean or even European on the same load due to fully imported.
Mine is the LG washer dryer front load 10.5/6kg

During dry spin quite loud.

Either you need to re-adjusted on mounting leg on balancing or the leg rubber is gone.
