One person usage only & not daily wash - what size is considered sufficient then? Maybe occasional queen size comforter washing.

Well, your statement are wrong basically, my TL never give me such problem even after 10 years
And because I was considering to buy a FL, I even clean it manually and wash with empty load every week, still it is not up to my expectation.
So the myth of FL can wash cleaner are flaw.

Wow.. I am changing my mind to get this rather than 2 separate washer and dryer from Electrolux. I didn't know such WM exist! 2-in-1 with heat pump dryer!! Btw, how long does it take you to do a normal wash and dry?

So it will take about 2.5-3 hours to complete the whole wash and drying cycle. Wait, I thought it has a heat pump dryer too?  Why do you need to take out to dry and put it back into the dryer?

Confused about loading. For FL, what kg min to wash king sized comforters / curtains?

Thinking of going for LG WD-ND13WM 13kg for about RM3500. Or I could get a lower capacity samsung WW90H7410EX 9kg at that price. Thoughts?

This is the only thing I don't like about FL. Have to clean and dry the inner parts of the rubber seal. You think with all the technology these days they still can't fix this simple problem? Btw I cleaned it after every wash.

Actually you no need to clean that part if you are using soda-less detergents

So I scored a TL yesterday, rm1150 send to my doorstep and the old Toshiba to my father's house.
After 2 days of usage, the laundry is clean and does not really tangle together like some fanboys said.
Just the down side is, it is quite loud when washing, but spinning are more quiet

My FL allows me to pause and open then add in clothes if needed

Yup my Panasonic FL also allows me to pause and add clothes. Since we have no intention of switching back to TL, during renovation we built a 1 foot high platform for the machine using cement and bricks. This elevates the machine to working height for my parents.

Currently using a kimchi TL at my rented place and I find that it doesn't clean very well, even on high water settings. Change of Soap doesn't help either

Yes, you are right, washing 2KG load do safe more, about 50% from any 10KG TL. But if I were to wash full load, that's double of what TL does

Normal wash requires 2-4 hours to complete the cycle, and most published numbers are based on kw/h. So, it translates to 2 to 3.4kw/h. Again, a TL longest wash cycle is 1 hour and that translates to 0.5 unit per cycle
And I'm doing unfair comparison also, using an inverter FL to compare a non inverter TL.
So, the myth of FL more superior's myth are busted
