you may go for any WM with inverter. Im also using Hitachi 13KG top loader inverter.
energy saving compare to non-inverter.
How bout water usage?energy saving compare to non-inverter.

QUOTE(supersound @ May 10 2015, 07:22 AM) Nope, considering this is just low end model. I thought you always said pana made God products.,Low end models FL WM are energy and water wasting, not to mention time needed. But for every l of water being saved, you need to pay extra rm500-1000. For me I still go for TL, cheaper, more energy and water savings. Also, if you can keep the laundry for 1-2 months without washing, FL is for you. I everyday have to wash, so I can't have any down time. Just spoil my interested for cheaper 8kg FL model |

QUOTE(kevyeap @ May 13 2015, 09:00 PM) Hello, What ever cheaper model is never consider as prefect.I would like to seek your advice / pointers on selecting Front Load washing machine (7 – 8 kg) for 1 person, no dryer. My opinion (with regard to Front Load) as follow: 1) Samsung / LG Korean makes better washing machine than car. For LG, I am impressed by DIrectDrive. Don’t really care for 6 motions. For Samsung, the lowest model for inverter unit is 8kg. Service done by third party 3) Panasonic Longevity issue; Spinning noise seems greater after 3 years and sign of rust. Service done by third party 4) Hitachi Impressed with self cleaning features AND the commercial with champagne glasses to demonstrate low vibration while spinning. It reminds me of the Lexus ad with champagne glasses. Don't know about long term. 5) Electrolux It works but get noisier after 3 -4 years. May be I was looking at friend’s lower end model. I am confused with their model number too. Ideally, a washer can last 10 years. My previous first front load WM, Elba lasted more than 18 years after buying the LG front load which only lasted 6 years. 2 features that impressed me are direct drive and inverter. Is Direct Drive only belongs to LG? Does inverter cut electric usage by 50%? I could be wrong on my opinion. Care to share your experience? Many thanks in advance. Regards, Kevin Just go within your budget as well. Inverter really saving power but also reduce noise from motor when spins or reduce vibration noise while on spining. My washer was samsung also, these is much better than others brand n even Japanese tech. |

QUOTE(halcyon27 @ May 15 2015, 10:47 AM) Not so. Tangs and Ngee Ann Best Denki have upgraded models with 33cm internal width never mind how "smallish" it looks from the outside. It even have a heat pump dryer. Their parts are perhaps the among the most durable used in the white goods industry. A solid testament to German product engineering. But one gets what's paid for. Wow look like buy German car... |

QUOTE(Mrmr @ May 24 2015, 11:24 AM) Ya that one I mention is sharp brand ,so the others pan a or hitachi brand heat pump dont know can dry completely or not? Heat pump or condenser just time to dryer up in same time. And the pana and hitachi is it washing plus dryer machine also? Beko is a brand name ? Also combo machine if either one failure the repair cost would be double and stop your washing function also. Heat pump just lower usage wattage only to compare on normal vented or condenser wattage will be double up. But for combo usually just offer lower weight only. |

Never before where got future?Did you know that, FL WM always overrate their capacity by 30% Not to mention the inverter vs non inverter power consumption. If I ask you invest to buy samsung WW9000 do you willing to pay for it? |

QUOTE(supersound @ May 26 2015, 08:32 AM) Well, if you give me guarantee that it won't be noisy and causing high vibrations after 2 years and you will pay the exact amount and will pay the transportation cost to take the WM and send to your house, I'm much willing to waste money on Samseng's rubbish. I though you dunno what's the situation |

QUOTE(supersound @ May 26 2015, 08:49 AM) I know what, Samseng's TV will record consumer's discussion, air cond blower unit sure will noisy after 1-2 years, outdoor units will work like what samseng typical will do, do parties and making noise when consumer wants to sleep No such thing, if you were using Internet TV maybe they can detect you... Otherwise.... I have no idea wow My ears like not like yours, mine are very sensitive to noise. If you can come out with 10 excuses to convince me on getting a Samseng to work in my house, I may consider it with the main condition is, you will absorb all the samsengs if they make problem with me |

QUOTE(kevyeap @ May 26 2015, 09:24 PM) Hello babyk, Inverter yes, but don't have VRT plus, just avoid to use 1400 spin cycle in heavy loaderThanks for your detail explanations. Without your input, I almost overlook the “door opening” aspect. In addition, the “no spin” feature in very interesting. Does it mean Samsung always spin at the end of any wash cycle whereas LG is user choice? Is there an option in Samsung such that “no spin” can occur after washed? I came across Samsung has a memory setting for most frequent wash cycle. You got your pedestal from Korea. Very impressive. For Samsung, H5400EW is labeled as “digital inverter” and H5290EW isn’t. Please pardon me for being technology illiterate. If Samsung is using Direct Drive in both machine, does it imply H5290EW is “analog” inverter so to speak. It’s like saying digital signal to analog signal. Back in ’09 (may be I wasn’t paying attention), I only came across “inverter” in fridge and air-condition, not in washing machine. So, I thought the "inverter" in a separate technology; a refinement to Direct Drive. Thanks again. Very much appreciated. Regards, Kevin But Eco bubble really helpful for when used cold wash, to be energy saving at all. This post has been edited by kimsim: May 26 2015, 09:42 PM |
