It don't have dust collector. Only a drain trap. Wash 2x a yrs.

Cloth never have a fiber stuck on it. And totally forget that a dryer require a filter. Till now.

Already run 6yrs+. The drain never clog before.

It look like better than single dryer. No need clean filter, no clog and maintainence free. So what 's wrong with 2in1?

Unless they sell pedestal to bring FL up to ergonomic height or can find universal off the shelf kind, get a top loader. Currently only some brands brought in here like GE do carry the pedestal. I saw that once in D Format kitchen opp the Strand.

There are a lot of blogs/articles talking about using vinegar + baking soda to clean the washing machine. How effective this would be? Or any other suggestion?

for FL machine, what's the minimum size required to wash comforter/toto?

the reason why i bought TL was, i had just started working back then, fresh graduate. and i moved around. so TL was more suitable due to lighter weight.
now i have my own house, will get the FL.
but i shall use the TL as long as it can still serves me

Sorry for my ignorance as I read through from page 97 to page 121 but I still can't figure out what brand/spec I should really go for...

I am shifting to my new apartment therefore I need to buy my first ever washing machine. Households members max is around 6 people. I am trying not to wash clothes very often. My current situation is wash twice a week (for 2 ppl only). Therefore, what capacity of WM that afford to allow me wash my laundry twice a week? Talking about capacity, can I ask 1 kg of TL WM = how many kg of FL WM? The sales lady told me 7 kg FL equivalent to 14 kg TL as TL's kg need to take into account of the water weight. Is it so much different?

I have seen supersound bro recommending Panasonic or Toshiba TL WM. But I went for a look and found that the base of the WM is plastic. Is there any full stainless steel TL WM around? I saw LG advertising their "FULL STAINLESS STEEL TUB" and saw their base is silver colour but I don't think its stainless steel after I touching it. In addition, any recommendation for FL WM? I am comparing both TL & FL atm because of promotion price, both are almost similar priced.

Besides all those fundamental spec, I am very confuse with all the functions that each brand offers. I think some of them are actually the same function but they named it differently. But I can't confirm whether they are the same as I have no experience in this. I have come across halcyon27 bro's post sharing below:
