Seriously i never check with customer service.
Because i asked my colleague who got the same type of fridge, she mentioned the same.
*
I go back and check what is my old fridge sound level. Starting and running.

It pretty annoying if the sound loud.

I noticed in normal rate, the motor works OK, and quite quiet.
the problem starts only if you put lot of new stuff into the fridge or leave the door open for quite sometimes,
then the motor start maximum boost.
*
I measure the noise using the sound meter (db). Put the meter about 300mm from the compressor. The result

When the compressor stop and total silent. Meter show 36.9db
user posted image

When compressor kick start run. Highest reading is 61.4db
user posted image

After it run stable and continue run, the meter show 39.6db

Can't tell it loud or not since I use to the noise level already.

Below is the sound in DB when my hitachi 600 litres inverter fully pick up.
Stays constant around 60db..
Which I think too noisy for me.

user posted image
*
Is your want is inverter?

The DB is almost double my fridge which running db is 40. The 60db is my kick start sound. That quite noisy.

Yes inverter.
but after picked up then back to normal < 10-20db i guess.
*
The graph is not whole operation? I thought the average stick is normal running db. While the long stick is kick start db.

If normal is <10-20db, it should be hardly hear the sound.

Noise level is very depend on personal, if some one can record down this "normal running and inverter pick up noise" as sound clip and upload here will be great.

Buy a wine chiller will do. A standard size one like a mini fridge can store up to 30 bottles.
As for whiskey, no need to keep in cold, just store away in a dry cool place not under direct sunlight will do.
*
I store it at room temperature. I drink it with ice. Specially whiskey. Or cool it abit in freezer before drink.

Too much this mini fridge or wine chillier in home can cost high electrical consumption. sweat.gif

http://www.lg.com/my/refrigerators/lg-GR-M403RLHH

just 2 ppl in my house so I dont need a big fridge. the 5 star energy rating for this is rated @ 337kwj per annum
*
Hmmm.. how a fridge consider as 5 star? Really don't no for me. sad.gif

For this LG 390l @ 337kw per annum. I saw some fridge with 670l @ 244kw per annum. And it didn't mention as 5 star.

TBM in old klang rd is the best. Don't go to other branches.
I live in Puchong and I don't bother to walk into any of the electrical shops here. They look like they want to eat you haha.....

Or JintexElectronics in Paramount if you know exactly what you want
Btw Mitsubishi has some that has a ice maker as well but the one similar price as the hitachi, seems not as nice as the hitachi unless you go for the higher range Folio. No Inverter though.

Folio-

You mean the TBM service is good? Or price? Now I think the Boss son maybe takeover after graduated. Their SS2 branch doing good.

Jintex price is not bad. My WM from from there. Good price. But nowadays he mostly sell middle to low price range. Ask some high end model, no respond 1.

Puchong electrical price abit high. The only ESH better price relocate liau.

Ozak,

Jintex price no need to negotiate too much, straight away give but his selection there low unless you know what you want and he can order for you.

TBM prices, you need to do some homework first to find the best price then go there to negotiate. Their people quite friendly. Dunno who is the son but the guy I deal with, I bought my WM and dryer from him at the very first homedec in mid valley many years ago. Now he also became big boss no layan at the shop but sometimes still there during weekend.

If you go to TBM during weekends, quite crowded with shoppers macam ToP Ten light shop lol. The thing I like about TBM is that they can hold the barang for me until I'm ready for delivery. Sometimes wait 1-2 years lol
And no worries about them closing down
*
When buying my WM from jintex, it already quite a good price. Whole puchong can't beat his price. Didn't negotiated much. He order from outside since he don't sell that brand and expensive abit item. So I know what range electrical he selling. But lately some model I asking, no respond 1.

TBM is very long history back to 80's. Family business. The whole building is their 1. Don't worried. They are exclusive with Panasonic. The boss no longer run the show. Active in association. Mainly wife run the show. Their kid maybe doing marketing.

But I didn't brought anything from them before. (Know something behind)

O.O know something good or not good?@_@

i was looking at mitsubishi folio until one of the shop salesman intro me to panasonic NR-F555TX. According to him, it saves more electricity compared to mitsubishi folio series. any opinions on this?

i was looking at mitsubishi MR-BX52W and MR-Z65R. Just knew Z65R is an old model. but like it cos of the huge nett capacity.
*
Can't tell here. Since I didn't brought anything from them. Not so good.

Mitsubishi folio, Panasonic NR-F555tx or hitachi r-c6800m is made in japan fridge. This all are very low consumption type of fridge. The lowest among them is the Hitachi. If not mistaken.

Ask for the annual consumption. Or the Amp/nett capacity when looking for fridge.

I like this multi door fridge. But the price sweat.gif

icic...the salesperson told me panasonic is best in energy saving... but these NR-F555tx n r-c6800m should be ok right since its from japan? overall brands i think ppl prefer mitsubishi. n they r the first to come up with this multi door design
*
Mostly this multi door type fridge so far I see is the only fridge made in japan. That's is why the price in higher side. Quality should be ok kua ?

If you talk about capacity perconsumption and the good compartment like tray, shelf and size per net capacity, Hitachi is the top. So far what I found out.

I think HN have most of this type fridge display. Can go over to compare.

I went TBM today to check on my purchase whether they kept my purchase for me or not but super jam at OKR due to Wesak day at the temple there, had to turn around.

I got one Pana Plasma TV and a Hitachi fridge on hold pending delivery. Already paid 50% deposit

Previously I bought Electrolux WM and Dryer, Hitachi Plasma TV, Sharp French door fridge from them....no problems. As long as they don't run away....kekeke  biggrin.gif
*
Don't worried la. So big shop. Won't run away your small purchase. They have branch also.

Many datuk/tan sri go there buy a lot of thing 1.

never been before to TBM, but i can say that jintex price is competitive though not the cheapest.

i find that ss2 happy price is the cheapest, though i'm not sure if they deliver free to putrajaya.

if ceres5000 stays at putrajaya, not worth for her to go so far just to save on few ringgit.

anyway, wouldn't mind going to TBM to check on their price, are they only at old klang road?
*
Normally for checking and compare, I go for those big outlet like seng heng, onking, HN. But when come to buying, I choose the normal or small shop. They normally have cheaper price. Don't no why.

TBM have some branch. Check their website. Old Klang road is the HQ and the oldest 1.
