Been using this R-V490P8M for 2mths+ i think, love it so far.
Huge upgrade of space from previous fridge especially on the freezer.
And the motor is quiet as well even at midnight doesn't hear anything.

One small thing dislike is the fridge chiller is drawer type, have to pull the whole lever out to put stuff inside..
Still can live with it of course...

Overall is very satisfying buy below RM2k.

Is good to buy from physical shop even if is slightly higher in price. Pay just the minimum deposit to arrange for delivery. If the product comes with dent, scratches or breakage, one can reject the delivery and request for replacement.

I still remember few years back when I bought a washer. There were some scratches but not obvious unless one look carefully. The delivery guy who is a third party contract delivery and he is willing to replace another one. His reasoning is for every trip, he is paid.

Since is doesnt affect usage, we accepted it.

Sometimes is not the fault of the shop unless it is a showroom unit or could have happen in the manufacturer warehouse.

I dont think a buyer can do it easily, if through online.

Currently want to replace my old toshiba gr r31mpd. Is panasonic inverter fridge still generally reliable? Did a little research and general consensus said that japanese brankd like toshiba(altho now bought by midea), sharp and panasonic is ok and panasonic is the most reliable. In my opinion, the price had already gone up during 11.11.
I bought a new refrigerator during 9.9 sales.
The same refrigerator model from same seller was RM500 more expensive during 11.11.
Yet, the seller's price was the cheapest across various online e-commerce platforms.

In another opinion, inflation is already hitting us.
We can buy now, otherwise the price may go up further.

I'm getting married in 3 weeks and was looking for a fridge about 1.5-1.8k above 400l capacity. I went to a few shops and i saw a 409l Beko that wwas about RM1850 excluding warranty. Anyone has experience with this brand? Or any recommendations would really help. Thanks.

Avoid Samsung and Toshiba. Others no comments.

Shopee/Lazada sellers tend to have cheaper price, but best to make sure they are using their own delivery fleet instead of general couriers

if you want to be safe just compare prices from major stores eg: Harvey Norman, Senheng/SenQ, TBM then go for the cheapest one
