Can't agree more with the above comment, original games are the way to go. Nowadays there's trading game or second hand games if you're low on budget.

May I ask, is that PS3 can play by Full HD LED monitor around 24" with built in HDMI?? May I do so?? got any disadvantages?

Should not be a problem.

No problem at all, as i m using a 22 inches full HD monitor, so far all running well

Problem occurs when your monitor does not have audio output...

Have to use another cable.

some monitors dont have built in speakers but have an audio output. u can use this to connect to speakers or headphones

if built gaming dekstop, i dont know dl games (im noob in IT) xD and gaming dekstop plus those equipment ard need 2.5k to 3k.

if buy PS3, the games so expensive pula >< but act i jz play FIFA and racing games only~such as GT5!!!

I'm new & wud like to ask... one shop near my house is selling PS3 160g for RM750 & modded PS3 + 10 hd games for Rm1650... izzit a good buy??

simple answer ~ not worth buying modded ps3

modded ps3 have to stick to old firmware , once you update to latest firmware , your console back to standard

if you want local support for the warranty , go for PS3 malaysia set ( by sony malaysia ) ..the price for 320GB rm1199 ( sony centre and sony style )

if you okey with imported set , the price for 320GB rm950 ( warranty by sony where they come from , example : singapore set by sony singapore )

# sony malaysia wont accept imported PS3 for warranty purpose .. but most sellers including me , we can claim the warranty on behalf , but you have to pay for the handling fees )

i am also thinking of buying a ps3 slim, here in melaka 160gb slim ap set $850 with one console.
My purpose is primary bd movie and games secondary.
Questions, how is the bd play back compare to other bd players at the same price range?
If i buy second hand games from low yat, can i still play online or the games is only registered for the first time user or that particular ps3? Something like the concept software register per pc?

for second hand games .. some games required codes to play online , usually it came with the game itself .. how ever if the first owner already redeemed the codes , you need to purchase another codes via playstation network ( psn ) in order for you to play via online , if the first owner didnt redeem the codes you are lucky , how ever most games can play online straight away even its second hand

for blu-ray , playstation 3 can support 3D blu ray movie .. so if you got 3d support tv .. this baby one of the must have gadget
