actually, if you scratched PS3's body, you can restore it by applying guitar polish, but not for those truck accidents one. Small ones should be fine.

brand new? i dont think so lah , its rare nowadays , best bet if u want backward compatibility is to get the 80gb mgs 4 bundle us version.

hey if i want to play ps3 on a lcd monitor, what inputs should the monitor have? and what additional cables are needed? estimate price for the lcd monitor and cables?

i not sure how much exactly is the lcd monitor..

but i think if you want to buy, better buy with HD ready... cause if you play ps3 with no high definition. the graphic is just like ps2 .. no point..

currently got 2 type of cable..

1 is HDMI to HDMI.. which is ps3 to plasma or lcd tv.

2. is HDMI to dvi, which is ps3 to HD lcd monitor.. ( i dont know plasma monitor exist already ??)

its a way to do marketing..
to trick consumers..
HD ready means monitor can go up to 1080p but not using HDMI cable.. using other alternatives such as component or DVI.
HD LCD means it can go up to 1080p with HDMI cable..
FYI, 720P is also consider HD.. just that the resolution is not as good as 1080P.

if not mistaken there is one LCD with HD ready..

anyway... PS3 in JB dirt cheap nowadays...

actually u must check your LCD monitor, see whether is DVI input, or HDMI input..
ps3 is guarantee is only HDMI output..

if is dvi input then u just buy a DVI-HDMI
if is hdmi input then u just buy a HDMI-HDMI

better get 22inch n above LCD monitor
