hey guys, so would it be better to just get a 40gb set now or wait for the new 80gb package?

and one more thing, will malaysia officially release ps3? meaning ori MY set. if so, any idea when?

oh ya, if i get a 40gb set now, which region set should i buy? i know games are region free, but for BD, what region movies are easily available locally?

hey if i want to play ps3 on a lcd monitor, what inputs should the monitor have? and what additional cables are needed? estimate price for the lcd monitor and cables?

so i'll need a HD ready lcd monitor with either DVI or HDMI inputs, and a DVI-HDMI or HDMI cable? is that all? how to tell if a monitor is HD ready? and are there any minimum resolutions to look for?

actually, people are planning to wait for the new 80GB bundle bcoz it will be launched at the same official price as the current 40GB set (299.99 pounds for the uk). so if at the same price you can get 40gb extra capacity + 1 dualshock 3, without a doubt you'll buy the new 80gb set rite. but this only applies to those living abroad , since the new 80gb hasn't been released on our shores. if it does launch, then i think sellers might cut down the price of 40gb sets in order to clear stocks. i think that will be the best time to buy a 40gb set...

where did you buy this? thats a decent price if comparing with curent market price.. did your shop have SG 160gb set?

160gb SG is rm100 cheaper than 80gb MY. but yea, local warranty is important.

any warranty left? does it come with any freebies?

no price drop for ps3 120gb by sony MY?

btw, how much was sony MY sellong 250gb models?
