yes, actually using 2 won't harm..the 1 powering up the pc will b ok..but the other psu, which powering up the gpu or hdd, will harm since it will not shut down =/

maybe someone should get some ram sink and try? so far i'm not having problem with my 4850..even like half a day gaming or leaving the pc on in the afternoon (Makes the card heats up a bit
