also means using ATI's board (unmodified)..+ had bad experience with non reference board

check the thread? i think there should b some temp of the cards :/...without fan fix, 4850 idles at 78-80c. after some minor bios fix and fan fix, it runs at much more cooler, which is at 50-53c for me..loads around 70c+++
