Btw, memang confuse to choose whether cheap 50mm or get 70-300mm.. around RM500++... or lower...

cheap 50mm lens will normally have better optics than a 75-300. But most improtantly what is your other lens? I think Nikon used to have a 55mm f2.8 Macro, capable of 1:2, which should kcik arse when photographing gunpla

I have Canon... not Nikon.... and only have kit lens lol... so palia one me...

is it... nice nice... because i havent got any small2 lens yet... just got my d80 around 3 month ago... got the kits lense and the 80-200... thinking of purchase the 50mm from shashinki... kind of cheap...

kit lens would be around 28-70 f3.5 to f4.5? The i would say skip the 50mm.
Btw, not all expensive lenses are good, and not all good lenses are expensive. If i recall correctly, Tamron used to have a 28-200 f3.5-f5.6 which earned rave reviews. Came in a Canon EOS mount as well. Perhaps they've released an updated version?

28-200 just not enuff zoom for me..

but 50mm got F1.8 which is darn good for snapping gunpla or figurine..

got the 80-200 around 3.5k or is it 3.7k... just got it as the previous 55-200 vr seem like a bit disappointing on the low and high end... it work find in the middle range... now looking to buy the 50mm...
