Some Seed Gunplas don't have MG/HG etc etc designation? The ones that if i recall properly have a small figurine of the pilot as well? Am thinking of getting a Strike or a Freedom - the seed series ones and the mg ones got big difference?

Seed series have NG/HG/MG/PG

If u can afford, Get PG joke... just get MG first and u can try PG later on... I know u just ported from SD to big scale gundam now...

get the 50mm. 50mm f/1.8 definitely more useful (and cheaper) than a 75-300 f/4-f/5.6 UNLESS if you kaya raya go buy 80-200 f/2.8

As for the seed gundams - i saw a series which if i'm not mistaken is 1/100. There's a whole bunch of them, but not written HG/MG etc on the box. Around RM99 methinks, how do they compare to say a MG Strike which is around RM178?

yup got many difference one... MG got inside frame... while the Seed series (we normally call it NG) is not that nice... you can refer to dalong.net (dejavu again) for picture of it...

Last time got cubicle, now open concept, even sit in front of CEO...totally cannot spam.

But at 300mm and coupled with the smallish aparture, you'll normally need a tripod or a monopod, which means surprise factor all gone.

Unless if you have hands of steel.

the 1/100 NG version is really different from the MG... read my previous reply...

then don't waste money on 75-300 anymore... since you kaya raya go get one of them 400 f/2.8s

But L lens is far far different than normal lens

from my experience at 400mm and f/2.8 the depth of field practically non existant - my old nikon f90's AF not really up to scratch, wouldn't focus properly
