do not disable d virtualization, u gain nothing by disabling it.

yup, a.c is decent enough for that range of voltage. but for 1.5v & above, i think better settle for higher end model...

for mild oc, a.c coolers are gud enuf, trust me...

d silent otes is crap for me, no proper contact made between d mosfets & d passive heatsink.

i remove 'em all & slapped a cm chipset cooler on d nb (put a cm 4cm led fan on it too) & put small chipset heatsink on d mosfets, temp dropped atleast 5'c more than d silent otes...

i know that, but even tighten d silent otes w srew instead of pushpins but still d heat dissipation is not gud enuf.... i thought d silent otes was soldered together but when i use some force d silent otes dissembled to 3 parts...

u mean my lousy f2 3800+? can't oc much, 2.5GHz seems d max for 24/7 setup. waitin for d b3 9550 but i guess earliest end of next week only can get...

so far i'm more happy w my ram instead... was a steal gettin 'em...

hopefully it can reach thursday... i'll be happy if d chip can reach 2.7~2.8GHz... fingers crossed then...

press ctrl + f1 in bios main page, then go to d page where u can adjust d settings for ram. look for command rate, change it from 1t to 2t...

for normal ram, if it's runnin 800~900MHz @ 5-5-5-x, 1.9v is d max. u don't need to give 'em extra juice just to make 'em stable, sometimes it's more on d main timings/sub-timings that make 'em unstable. i mite be wrong thou, wait for mem tweakin gurus for their advices...

performance wise, i think big typhoon is d best.

if can sacrifice some performance for d sake of gettin a new cooler, i'll go for hyper tx 2 personally.

if u really immune to noise, by all mean go for big typhoon, then get a higher cfm fan to replace d stock fan. u should have very gud load temp w/ that combo.

imo, retail 4600+ f3 might do as well as those handpicked 3800+ by bro dblooi below 3.3GHz, but at higher MHz, 3800+ wins hands down.

i dun quite agree with that mate, processors overclockability (at least amd chips) differ from batch to batch, it started that way even back in socket a era.

psu & pwm not stable. psu cause by d capability of it, pwm cause by d heat. d higher d vcore, d hotter they get. try to cool 'em down.

loosen timing means put 'em at more relax timing. for me, i'll settle for 5-5-5-x.

nope, i dun think i have that in bios. abit is more simple when u compared it to biostar. biostar is more advance in bios, especially ram tweakin options. gosh... i miss my ta690g ledi...

agree bro, it's not gud to push d board to its limit... later d mosfets can't take it and burn...

i would be happy to get that kinda clock for 24/7, try 3.3GHz around 1.4v, from there start to lower down d vocre by doin more burn in.

check ya +12v rail when ur primin, if it is fluctuatin very frequent, my advice is lower down ya vcore or.... get a better psu.

my advice is try to bring down d voltage 1st @ 3.2GHz, as it's quite obvious that ya psu/board can't take too high vcore. from there slowly push it up w/o havin d need to add a lot vcore. seriously 3.2GHz is more than enough for 24/7.

then work slowly from there... there's no short cut in oc mate... patience is all u need... dun forget ur just playin w ya chip atm, there'll be more miseries when d ram oc comes...

u can't compare brisbies to decent f3... no offence but they're in different league.

finally some figures come out... try to optimize ya os when ur doin super pi. u can do alot better with that kinda clock... mite as well run ya ram @ higher divider (for benchies only lah )

if best batch of 9850/9950 b.e, clock to clock i think agena slightly win due to improved architecture. but normal agena sure kena pawned by decent f3.
