QUOTE(8tvt @ Aug 1 2008, 02:12 AM) yes my dear.. u need to train the cpu to sprint.. yes. i will do that but after i get better cooler. now its too hot.F3 is ok for that voltage.. my G1 ran with 1.4v @ ~3ghz after sometimes - stress test u will need to decrease/increase the voltage to get optimum results.. |

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Aug 2 2008, 03:49 PM) 3dmark06 does not reflect real gaming performance. Anyhow, don't forget that phenom core vs X2 core at equal clockspeed, phenom is ~10 to 20% faster in games. thanks for the link. now i know why.http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/amd-ph...x2,1746-10.html If the game uses more than 2 threads simultaneously (which games nowadays mostly limit at 2!), then phenom will be faster even at 2.4GHz. |

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Aug 2 2008, 04:20 PM) Just noticed something in that link LOL....particularly in Supreme Commander, phenom core is 45% faster!! 0.o But then that's on low resolution...as resolution increases, I think the difference is smaller. my pc reboot twice now. never have this issue before. just like someone press the reset button. anyone know why? |
