public school:
Catholic High School (Jln Gasing) private school: (i think usually they're made up of brats and rich kids but of course there are good students here but few and not necessary to go private school i have prejudice against private schools so i'm not listing any chinese independent school: Chung Hwa Independent School (Jln Ipoh) other national schools: sekolah bintang utara (used to be part of BBGS) victoria's institution (smk victoria) st. john's convent bukit nanas -- all benchmark schools. their exams usually passing % is 100% |

I think most people will say that their school is the best.
How do we actually define that a school is " good " ? By having the most number of straight A students ? |

Private schools are the only hope for those seeking English education in the country of Malaysia. |

QUOTE(cherriedpie @ Jul 16 2008, 09:26 PM) public school: I noticed the old school in KL, VI, St John, Convent, MBS, MGS...all are not co ed school.Catholic High School (Jln Gasing) private school: (i think usually they're made up of brats and rich kids but of course there are good students here but few and not necessary to go private school i have prejudice against private schools so i'm not listing any chinese independent school: Chung Hwa Independent School (Jln Ipoh) other national schools: sekolah bintang utara (used to be part of BBGS) victoria's institution (smk victoria) st. john's convent bukit nanas -- all benchmark schools. their exams usually passing % is 100% but agree with the list... However, school in Subang, damansara or those student who have a good backgorund definatley perform better. If you compare school in Setpak, Klang, Jinjang, Sentul....who studnet are form middle lower class certainly have more problem and thus performance is not as good as peer from damansara or PJ or SUbang... |

Based on my experience,for best academic should be SAB la,
for balanced curicullum(sport) and academic should be SMK Cochrane Perkasa(tallest school in KL for private,I suggest u to go Sri Garden for academic result(if u wish to do the gomen exam like PMR/SPM etc) |

QUOTE(Cristiano-Ronaldo-7 @ Jul 15 2008, 03:02 AM) well it varies from area to area, klang is big, but im from damansara area, but recently i heard of this school in klang klang, called STAR acronym though supposed to be the best in klang, as for the rest, chinese schools like chung hwa produce good students but usually arent dynamic. woot woot...I am from Chung Hwa Klang(government ones)........private schools like sri kdu, cempaka and kl would be good, but based on records wms and sri cempaka drill their students like mad on spm preps and wms had like 70% of student popullation get 10 a's or something lie that Btw....maybe Kwang Hwa...their headmaster n teachers really top clas..their form 5 got 10++ classes....ard 14 n above...
