OK cymon...i think i reply u here coz its more on topic hehe.
Surely i'll join if theres anything. Our cg society needs to put our heads together really and do something. Im sure there are a group or two who had pioneered it. Some say the govt aint supportive enough + our media platform (the mainstream one the least) is not a good place to grow talent coz of stuff like racial/religious/politics/ISA/royalties bla bla bla sensitivities or wuteva.
And they wonder why arent we developing.
Siggraph S'pore was slow i heard but i was talking abt a smaller one organised by CGtalk s'porean member..here
http://forums.cgsociety.org/showthread.php...82&page=6&pp=15Neah...nothing big of anything to shout abt

. Working in archi firm pose less and less challenges nowadays and getting too predictable.
Are u joining CGChallenge Steampunk!? I got some nifty ideas but too leadbutted to do anything abt it....me and gaming

so i count you in for my project.
yup, you were right. our govt aint that much supportive compare oversea, maybe they thought this industry won't grow or solid enough.
that why most of the pro already export their talent out of country.
that will be good if we have small scale of cg group gathering.
the problem is singapore is small country compare to malaysia so the gathering won't be much trouble.
lot of cg ppl in malaysia is scatter around and travel/hospitality will be an issue.
about CGChallenge Steampunk, i maybe will join once i finish my current projects.
the prize look great but most of all is the fun.
so have you prepare anything real cool for this challenge?
mind to share?
oh, come on. life goes on.
i know it is pretty boring at archi firm sometime but i m sure you can make something out of there.
any ideas going into something new?
