Players will be playing different events to warm up for Australian Open.

Federer, Nadal and Murray will be playing in Qatar Open, while Djokovic, Ivanovic will be at Brisbane International.

Some others will be playing in Hopman Cup as well.

Starsports will be showing Hopman Cup and Qatar Open.

Lets hope for the great season in 2009!

Lolz. Yeah, can't wait to see the mixed doubles of Safin and Safina.
It gonna be real fun in Hopman Cup with this Russian siblings.

Anyway, Starsports showing both Hopman Cup (semis & finals included) and Qatar Open live. The thing is the final of Qatar Open is not shown, yeah, b****y Starsports as usual.

Nadal, Federer, Davydenko, Roddick, Murray and Blake are expected to play in an exhibition tournament tomorrow in Abu Dhabi, then some will head to Qatar Open after that.

Federer for men's, Jankovic (temporary) for women's.

I do hope that Federer and Jankovic has a great chance of winning Australian Open. For Federer, he has to play like how he played in US Open 2008, attacking minded and keep going to the net.

For Jankovic, i think Australian Open court suits her alot. It allows her to display her defensive skills. I don't know how much she has improved her serve during the off season, which i hope she does.

Then you have to be hardworking and start writing to Astro. I remember one time a woman representing Astro called me because i complained bout the coverage on tennis, she got scolded by me.

How you know i will be going to Australia? But no Foxtel (Australian's Astro) for me. Maybe will sign up the official live streaming of ATP/WTA. (www.tennistv.com) (Expensive like shit but have full coverage of all major tournaments excluding grand slams)

Anyway for Hopman Cup, Russia vs Italy on Sunday. Starsports showing.

Haha. If i want to go Australian Open, which i really hope i can go, i will work hard during summer holidays, then head to Melbourne at the middle of January, staying in fren's house. =D
Will stalk Federer as soon as i'm in Australian Open.

Lolz. Nothing to be disappointed about. Both were really taking easy. I also don't wan Federer to tire himself out there so early in the season.. He still has another tournament to go next week. But its nice to see Federer playing.

Lolz. Normally we have India representing the Asians.. but apparently Chinese Taipei is better.

Safina's hair color changed abit... She said in interview that she lost weights due to intense training... Can't really see that.

Nadal also lost to Murray in Abu Dhabi. Murray is the man of the moment.

Lolz. The Safina and Safin mixed doubles match was fun.. Although they lost the match, but both of them won their singles match.
Wait until they face a tougher opponent like France.. Gilles Simon seems to be on form!



Yeah, bout Qatar Open.. It will start today. Starsports will show the USA vs Slovakia at 5PM (live) then followed up by Qatar Open at 9PM. So whole evening of tennis.

Players that will be playing today in Qatar will be Monfils vs Hernchy (9PM), followed by Roddick vs Navarro. Shouldn't be tough for the top seeds i guess.
