Huh? Losing 1 match doesn't mean anything. He lost to Gonzalez in his first match in Masters Cup also and still come back as a champion. But he must win today against Roddick.

I heard that Roger is sick (stomach upset) when he plays Stepanek. He says he needs a miracle now to beat Murray with the sickness and how good Murray is now. Not to forget the week in Paris he had a back injury.

This year is really an unlucky year for Federer because of the mono virus he had in the start of the year that really affected his standard of playing throughout the year.

Emm. Not sure.

Federer won 1st set. He's playing his best tennis now.

However, can't watch in Astro due to rain... o.O

Great match. Federer, injured but he really gave his heart there. No complaints here.

Surprisingly i'm not that sad that Federer lost.. Maybe because of the condition he was... Back injury and also stomach upset... And he really gave his heart out there.

Haha, well, at least he won the US Open.. which is the key of the season..

Can't wait to see him in Malaysia, although i would prefer him to rest more if he really injured.

Haha.. Murray is lack of experience. He could have not tried that hard beating Federer that day to conserve energy since he has already qualified.. Yet, because of pride, he gave it all and couldn't have enough energy to beat Davydenko. Too bad.

He would be there for only 45 mins if i'm not mistaken.

I'm not going as it clashes with my exam.. Probably send my mum and sister to go there and get the autograph for me. =)

It would matter in draw... Djokovic has chance to be the No.2 if he gets good results in the first tournament of 2009 as Federer has no plans playing an official tournament before Australian Open.

It does matter because if Federer is No.3 he has every chance to meet Nadal in the semifinals.. So its not that good if Nadal is in form.

Yeah, Nadal's injury is very serious.. may have a permanent effect on his game..... Well, not that we didn't expect this.. for his style of playing... it won't last long. He peaked this year.

11.45AM. Be there around 10AM to avoid congestion? Lolz.

If not mistaken, he's already in KL and staying in Mandarin Oriental next to KLCC. tongue.gif

I just 'met' (bumped into (not literally)) Mirka in KLCC. As expected, not terribly friendly. But at least she still smiled and repeated whatever I said back to me. Hahaha! I guess it's far better than being completely ignored  tongue.gif

Where is Roger? Resting in hotel room? Guess Mirka is shopping again in KLCC.. Prada.. LV.. Armani.. Her favourite. =)

Didn't ask for autograph?

No, I didn't ask for her autograph. She seriously doesn't strike me as the type.
OK, the autograph session sucked. I didn't manage to get one. The security did not manage the lines properly. Near the end, they just either opened up, or just did not manage the lines and everybody rushed. So, the blocked everyone, and only let a few through and didn't want to let it go on. The session didn't even last 30 minutes.

Oh well, at least I have a small consolation. This morning, I saw Bjorn Borg sitting alone quietly with a lady in a cafe unnoticed with the exception of one middle eastern lady. So I thought, wow! Bjorn Borg. So I got his autograph, and shook his hand. Now he, was friendly  rclxms.gif

I got three autographs. One on the cap, one on a poster and one on a ball.

HAHAHA

yeah?
I think the ticket price is expensive too... shakehead.gif
for those seats below RM388...I can guarantee, u can't watch anything clearly from there...
coz i went to watch Malaysia badminton open last time...

I bought the 188 ticket and its quite clear from there. Maybe because tennis balls are bigger than badminton shutter (sp?)

Haha. Was a fun day with all players showing their skills. Borg and Mcenroe still can play great tennis. Shame that the stadium is not full. Last year was full.

Yeah, the umpires are blind, this includes the linesmen as well... =)

Haha, McEnroe and Borg are so old, yet they play better than so many WTA players. Blek!

But i can show you the autographs. HAHA.

he retired at 26..but even all that..i still think that if he didn't retire he would have been the one that's holding the grand slam record..

I must say this..McEnroe's serve is unbelievable for a man like him..all was great..

Have to agree that the umpire sucked big time..there was even once after McEnroe HELD his serve..the umpire said "game,Borg"..sucked big time
*
That's really embarassing... Not to forget those ballboys.. The players had to wait so long for the balls. sad.gif sad.gif
