Well, Murray did beat Djokovic last week in Rogers Masters. So i see no reason why he can't do it again, especially after watching how he return Karlovic's serve, really playing super well now.
![]() For those who like women's tennis, watch Rogers Cup final in Eurosport at 1.45AM. But i would rather wake up for Murray vs Djokovic at 3. Anyway, Jankovic is the new World No.1. This post has been edited by Bepeon: Aug 3 2008, 05:16 PM |

WTA really nuts at the moment.
Rapid changing as World #1 Ivanovic still strugglin on hard court. She did well in Australian Grand Slam though This post has been edited by Raikkonen: Aug 4 2008, 02:28 AM |

Lolz, Australian Open surface different from US Open surface. I think the hardcourt in US Open series is now the fastest surface, even faster than Wimbledon.. after watching Cincinnati final.. where the balls are flying here and there.
Apparently the best women's player currently is Safina... reaching 2 finals consecutively... And nice win by Murray against Djokovic, winning his first Masters Series. Its a great match.. worth waking up at 3.30AM to watch this match. ![]() ![]() Next major stop ---> Beijing Olympics. |

At this moment, i can't tell whether Federer, or even Nadal will be in the US Open final.. However, Federer does play better in Slams this year, reaching Australian Open semifinals and also final in Wimbledon and French Open.
Nadal hasn't shown that he's the best player on hardcourt.. i still think Djokovic is better than him on the hardcourt.. And also Murray.. he has shown us his potential by winning Cincinnati. Olympics will tell us more about the current form of the top players. |

QUOTE(faris21 @ Aug 4 2008, 06:06 PM) wah...so many points... but I think it's still hard for him to get back No.1 at the moment... coz Nadal won't be knockout too early oso... maybe at the US open or by beginning of next year...he can gain back the No.1... According to the news, Olympics points won't be enough to make changes between No.1 and No.2. Federer needs to win the US Open to even have chance to become No.1 (provided that Nadal plays badly too but it doesn't seem so).
If Federer wins Madrid Masters + Paris Masters + Masters Cup + US Open, he will be the no.1. |
