QUOTE(Bepeon @ Aug 4 2008, 06:39 PM) According to the news, Olympics points won't be enough to make changes between No.1 and No.2. Federer needs to win the US Open to even have chance to become No.1 (provided that Nadal plays badly too but it doesn't seem so). If Federer wins Madrid Masters + Paris Masters + Masters Cup + US Open, he will be the no.1. Seems tough isn't it? it was easy back in 07. but the federer of 08 is far different from the federer of the past year. i miss his 'missing' awesome courage to go for almost impossible shot. Added on August 5, 2008, 2:19 pmQUOTE(faris21 @ Aug 5 2008, 01:30 PM) so when the Olympic draw hope Djoker in Fed`s side,it hard to Rafa reach the final if Djoker in his side murray, karlovic(his serve kinda suit the fast turf) and co could be the real joker, perhaps This post has been edited by yngwie: Aug 5 2008, 02:19 PM

i believe in federer, so although he is down to his last 2 weeks as number 1 , he will try to fight back harder. its just sad that after 247 freaking weeks, nadal will take over. its just upsetting me for now..

He will definitely come back... i don't think he's will do a Borg or Henin now. He's definitely not that type of person.
Federer has held the No.1 spot for 236 weeks consecutively... this is the longest record... before this Connors held it for around 160 weeks consecutively. One can't hold the top spot forever... He's not immortal.

He's not immortal. good record by FedEx,it almost impossible to broken, now he should catch the other record the most week in the 1st spot,i wiki the fact and find Fed now fourth behind Sampras(286) , Lendl (270) and Connors (268). He need 51 weeks to beat Sampras, can he do it??if now he 24yo im sure he can do it

And some luck maybe. He's definitely training hard and not giving up yet. Anyway, tomorrow is the opening ceremony for Beijing Olympics and also the birthday for Federer. Federer will be holding the Swiss flag and leading the Swiss athletes. A very proud day for Federer. Anyway, the Olympic draw is out. Federer has Karlovic, Davydenko, Gulbis, Robredo and others at his side of the draw and Nadal has Murray, Djokovic, Hewitt and Nalbandian. Looks like an easier draw for Federer but many dangerous floaters for him as well. More Beijing pictures. This post has been edited by Bepeon: Aug 7 2008, 05:40 PM

He has so far performed better in all the Grand Slams compared to Masters Series.. so you can definitely look forward to a better Federer. He's not dumb and he knows the other players are getting closer and better now...

Go www.bet365.com
Register an account (give fake info no problem)... They show all the Masters Series tournaments and also some other tournaments. =)
Great quality.
