This summer, I've booked my flight from London to Malaysia using Emerald Travel (London).
I had to use them as they are appointed by my company.

Before I booked, I asked them about flight's checked in baggage allowance and to compare between Egyptair (requires transit but offer 23kg +23kg)and MAS.
I asked them if MAS still offer GRAD card for student ( I was still a student at the point of time), she said no, because MAS has increased baggage allowance from 20kg to
30kg. Anyway, I still ended up with MAS due to shorter travel time.
When I checked in at the London Airport, I was humiliated by this MAS staff, MR Lim, as he justified that every student should be intelligent to apply for Grad card before travel and so any extra kgs will be charged. I explained to him that I received conflicting information from my travel agent. He shrugged off saying' he doesn't want to argue.'
So upon arrival in Malaysia, I emailed MS Bobbie and Ms Hassan From Emerald Travel Ltd about my experience. THEY REFUSE TO OWN UP THEIR MISTAKE.
What's more ridiculous is MS BOBBIE COULDN'T RECALL ANYTHING ABOUT MY ENQUIRY and the company has no phone record or what so ever. (REALLY?)
And only when I asked for compensation, then MS BOBBIE or EMERALD TRAVEL LTD bothered to find the information to point out that I was too late to apply for one at that time.
