100% sure he crack with cmd through safe mode. Set a bios password, that one very secure unless your bro go and reset the whole bios.

Your mother actually hid the monitor inside her wardrobe? That’s somewhat massive!

no need to crack with rainbow, just use "tools" to reset the password...

I did try with XP installed with my VM. It was easy enough to go to safe mode and disable the service so that you can log on as build-in local admin account.

It was a little tricky for those protected files. I could actually see those files once in safe mode so I figured something has to be loaded in normal startup. And then I come across this one:

lol?

So simple solution. doh.gif

This is the reply I got when asking about the "protection" in safe-mode:

OIC.. If reset the password sure nvm la.. I mean by decrypt the key hash not easy..

If want to avoid somebody reset the admin key just purchase 3rd party sofware to block the CD-Rom, Usb and floppy..

lol there's no way to prevent ur bro hacking ur password..
hacking pasword is as easy as 1, 2, 3....

That is becoz thanks to the microsoft, the password is stored in SAM file in the pc and the encryption is standard...
Its so easy for reverse engineering.

If u want to keep ur stuffs from him, get an external hdd
