Added on August 11, 2008, 4:17 pm QUOTE(da3shou3 @ Aug 8 2008, 03:06 PM) I did try with XP installed with my VM. It was easy enough to go to safe mode and disable the service so that you can log on as build-in local admin account. This is the reply I got when asking about the "protection" in safe-mode:It was a little tricky for those protected files. I could actually see those files once in safe mode so I figured something has to be loaded in normal startup. And then I come across this one: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/745431# lol? So simple solution. QUOTE(Everstrike) Hello, this option work only in registered version. lol there's no way to prevent ur bro hacking ur password..
hacking pasword is as easy as 1, 2, 3.... That is becoz thanks to the microsoft, the password is stored in SAM file in the pc and the encryption is standard... Its so easy for reverse engineering. If u want to keep ur stuffs from him, get an external hdd |
