LOL okie  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

Anyway, choose the right choice before buy. I've done a lot mistake on my car so now I'm regret, it's too late because the money is already fly away.

All Vios is CKD and instead majority of the part of this new Vios is localised... UMW Toyota is looking forward be the main Vios Assembler to supply the whole south east asia for the next few years..

We don't assemble vios here in malaysia leh.All of them are imported from thailand. We only assemble Toyota Rush and Avanza here

I would say you should take the J-spec.Buying price is less so less depreciation. Most of the missing features except the airbags I find it useless.

Overall, the J-spec exterior looks just the same. You also getting the same engine so no problem on the fuel economy side and reliability issue

Erm... FYI all Vios are assemble in Malaysia Shah Alam Plant... Toyota Rush is import from Indonesia only Avanza is install in Malaysia but its in Perodua plant..

To Create under standing on Toyota Model Assemble area pls refer below

Vios J,E,G,S / Innova / Fortuner / Hilux / Hiace - Assemble in Malaysia Shah Alam Plant
Avanza 1.3&1.5 - Assemble in Malaysia (Perodua Plant)
Camry / Altis / Wish / Yaris - Fully Import (CBU) from Thailand
Rush - Fully Import (CBU) from Indonesia
Rav4 / Previa(Estima) - Fully Import(CBU) from Japan

Hope it clarify your doubt and understanding

i went to toyota showroom in subang jaya just now, the J spec is not as bad as i thought.

the interior is black/grey combination.
J spec - rm73k
S spec - rm88k

get J spec
- throw the steel rim away, slam on a nice set of wheels. +rm2k
- throw the stupid HU away, slam in a nice 2 din HU - rm700
- put on ur own choice of body kits + spoiler(included paint) - rm2k

altogether = rm73k+ 2k + 700 + 2k = rm 77.7k = still cheaper than E specs. biggrin.gif

if u like, u can even go add in ur own airbags and leather seats, it'll still be cheaper than G specs, choice is yours. brows.gif

- L e O - , suppose stock part always the best, because the design come out from professional engineer ... and if u change rim, void the warranty instantly ... wink.gif

for the bodykit part i understand, but change rim void warranty? please do some research, get your facts right and do not give wrong info to the others.

From my understanding, if u touch and wiring at the engine bay, such as installing amplifier for ur ICE setup, yes it will void ur warranty,

installing rims, change HU, install bodykits, it will not void ur warranty, ofcourse u can correct me if i'm wrong.

next time if u plan to include the 1st bolded statement into ur reply, pls dont include the 2nd bolded statement.. it makes u look stupid for being confidence yet, sceptical nod.gif
anyhow, if u got problem regarding the suspension or perhaps chasis, toyota might void ur warranty for changing the sport rim and u never know whistling.gif .. afterall, stock car are meant to be stock until over warranty

Check the review on the vios J frm NST's CBT section. All praises by the reviewer, Hezeri Samsuri and he has mentioned he can get 16km/l for FC without even trying hard, and cannot finish the petrol even after 3 days of trashing.

So convincing enough? tongue.gif

FYI... Changing the rim to bigger size or other than original size will only void the absorber warranty... if u change the sportrim following the orignal size and specs, shouldn't be a problem voiding the warranty...
Toyota have rights to void the warranty of any modification done in the vehicle if the complaint that you made on your vehicle related or cause by your modifications made...
